I love that Chandra! I was bummed that gremlins didn't have a larger presence in Kaladesh - there was no real reason to build gremlins. But I really liked their design and concept.
Early on maro mentioned trying 2 loyalty ability Planeswalkers for intro decks but decided to use overcosted ones instead. I wonder if this was one of the better designs
Is it a dragon? Does it look like a super saiyan version of a dragon? Then it's Kaijudo. (I love that Nira card as I loved Duel Masters back in the day).

From what recall, it's still wildly popular in Japan.
That it is still, but does Wizards own the rights over there?
I mean, it's their property. So far as I know, Wizards doesn't have a middle man for Magic in the Japanese market, I don't know why they'd need one for Duel Masters.
There are more factors that affect legality than just border color:
• The card is genuine and published by Wizards of the Coast
• The card has a standard Magic back, is a double-faced card, or is a card that is part of a meld pair.
• The card does not have squared corners.
• The card has non-silver borders.
• The card is not a token card.
• The card is not damaged or modified in a way that might make it marked.
• The card is otherwise legal for the tournament as defined by the format.
These cards definitely fail the second and last criteria. Cards not intended for tournament play can't be used in tournaments regardless of how many other criteria they meet.
And here I thought this thread would be about Unstable cards.
I'm actually impressed with Nira; power level-wise, she looks pretty legit for some exclusive stuff. Not bad if they were to have something like her in the real game eventually.
Chandra though... Too joke-y, but eh. Dungeon Master is fun, but for me, it's bleh. But hey, it's for fun card anyway....
I would totally let anyone use Nira in Commander. The impossibility of owning a legit physical card of this, and even though they aren't legal shouldn't matter when it would be such a shame to not play with great unique design that opens up a lot of deck design opportunities. I am all for it as long as the proxies are done well by whoever wants to use it as a Commander.

Hey guys, just a thought? Is there any chance that these cards could be in Unstable as well? Was there a rumour that Unstable would have some black bordered cards as well as silver?
It's not a rumor. MaRo himself confirmed that Unstable will have exactly six black-border cards, all of which have been revealed: Steamflogger Boss and the 5 full-art basic lands.
1d4+1 loyalty is delightful, and I'd like to see the idea used in Unstable. These cards are just a tease, as they functionally don't exist for us mere mortals. You really can't blame them, though. If I were Magic, I'd definitely do this sort of thing too.
I already printed proxies of Chandra and Dungeon Master for my Un-cube. Have robot chicken in there as well. Can't wait to see weird things like goblin bookie forcing the reroll on Dungeon Master's die rolls and Chandra counting changelings towards that Gremlin count (adaptive automaton to be their lord of course). Wish there was a straighter pic of Chandra, I had to mess with it a bit to get it onto the card.

Where is the Nira card people are talking about?

I would definitely try and proxy these as well if I build a cube full of the very rare stuff! Cards like Robot Chicken, Shichifukujin Dragon, 1996 World Champion, as well as every card that is only available online from Gleemox in MTGO to the exclusive Astral set from the MicroProse game to the exclusive cards from the Sega Dreamcast game (that was only release in Japan, I think?) since all those cards would basically only be legal in Cube, anyways.

Black bordered, but they do not have Magic card backs. Not legal.
