This showed up on Doug Beyer's blog today. It's kind of a tease, because according to him, there are only ~5 in existance, given to him and a few others as some kind of reward from WotC executives.
Edit: The interesting thing is that the collector info says 001/003, which means we could be seeing the other soon.
It's black border...it means is it legal in commander/legacy/vintage? Are we seeing a new mana crypt like card?
If this supply is going to be as limited as Watchwolf says, I really hope this isn't legal in any format. I'm being pretty selfish here, as I collect planeswalkers, and I would hate this Chandra being legal, as there is no way I'd ever be able to afford one.

Every last one of these cards is black border. None of those five WotC employees can just show up to a Legacy tournament with this card in their decks. "Celebration" cards are not legal in any format and are made purely as gags or party favors.
I think the most interesting thing here is the fact that there's flavor text. The Chandra card itself, while not silver-bordered in its mechanics like the Dungeon Master card, is clearly meant to be for the lols and not competitive. But maybe there's a way to fit flavor text on "real" three-ability planeswalkers?
Sidenote: The one card I'm jealous of here is Nira. What fun that looks like for Commander! (Of course, she can just be proxied in that case if you're into it.)
First Grimlock, now Nira, these promo Legendary Cards seem to make more interesting (and arguably better) Commanders than most Legendary Creatures we get in (non-commander) retail products nowadays (in fairness Grimlock is only slightly better because there aren't enough good dinosaurs, vehicles and werewolves for their own decks and he combines them three to make it enough...)
Then again EDH is the wacky, shiny, unique format, so by being unique promos they naturally look better even if they might not be the best Commanders strictly speaking (but it'll still be hard to say they're bad by any measure).
Well, there we go and get an offical definition of what an adventuring party looks in Magic, so that's nice. I recall I wish they'd called it "create" as that would put this in line with tokens.
I notice the cards are personalized down to having the name of the recipient printed on them. Also the set they are from is "HEROES 2016" which tells you something about the timeline of this product (as reference: this years core set would have been named "Magic 2018" by the most recently used convention).

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.
[thread=239793][Game] Level Up - Creature[/thread]
These cards do not have official Magic backs, so are no more legal for play than World Championships Deck cards. That said, these should probably have had silver borders.
No 2/2 green Ranger with reach for the dungeon master? Seriously though, this is a nice bit of obscure Magic trivia, and I love that the illustration references the Dungeon Master from the old Dungeons and Dragons cartoon.
If it helps with anyone's obsessive need to collect, I saw it written on Twitter (from a worker at WotC) that all of these are oversized cards. If that is true, there are exactly zero copies of Dungeon master and the like that you could even theoretically sleeve and slip into a deck (unless you make a point of collecting oversized cards).
I hope these bring a lot of joy to those at Wizards that earned them.
You know what? Me too. I know if I owned one of the rarest Magic cards in the world and it was because of my hard work in making Magic, then I would swell with pride every time I looked at it.
Anyone else get a Duelmasters (or I guess Kaijudo, the thing they tried to remake it as) vibe from that dragon?
I believe that's exactly the theme they were evoking. There's one card for each of Wizards' major properties.
It's definitely in Kaijudo's art style, but I don't know if Nira's an actual character in that game. Meanwhile, Bolas makes an appearance in the Japanese edition of Kaijudo!
I collect dragons, and reading that these are oversized cards and not normal sized means I can breathe a sigh of relief about ever trying to acquire Nira.
I love that Chandra! I was bummed that gremlins didn't have a larger presence in Kaladesh - there was no real reason to build gremlins. But I really liked their design and concept.

They are both in(or sitting on) a standard UltraPro sleeve. The extra large UP sleeves have the same size holo stamp as the standard size. These are standard sized magic cards, but they probably have a non-standard back.
You know, considering Magic originally was created as a distraction for D&D players in between campaigns, this is a cute throwback to that.
The art for Chandra is probably among the better of all her existing planeswalker cards. The Dungeon Master's d4 + 1 loyalty made me smile. I wonder if they'll use this as a template for future Magic sets, whether supplemental or otherwise.

I wouldn't call Kaijudo (or Duelmasters) a major property of theirs. I know it used to be, minus their attempt at bringing it back as Kaijudo, but honestly you have to remind yourself nowadays that it's a thing they still own, for some reason.
