The gallery has been there for a while, contains all the cards that were leaked.
Most, not all. It's missing some of the blurrier cards: Huatli, Vraska, both white mythics, the blue draw seven mythic, the mythic black orc, the WB mythic vampire legend, the rare blue milling fish, two black rares, three red rares, and both rare vehicles.
Anyway, seeing a map of a plane for once is actually pretty cool. I'd love to see them do the same for other planes.
The map has been updated, but it seems they were a little sloppy and uploaded more than just the one image...
Edit: Map versions 2 through 20 were accidentally made publicly viewable but have now been made private. Still managed to snag a download of the final version.

Nice find! Thanks for catching that and posting it. I imagine the one piece they have up now is where Jace landed.

My God, the incompetence of whomever manages this site is record-breaking. They spoiled bontu's last reckoning, samut and nicol bolas, now spoiled the whole map, not to mention the failed promotion back in SOI where everyone just spammed WoTC's e-mail box with random words from Innistrad and got back a spoiled card. Jeez.

Would you like to read Commander stories? Check my latest stories, coming from Lorwyn and Innistrad: Ghoulcaller Gisa and Doran, The Siege Tower! If you like my writing, ask me to write something for your commander as well!

Haha, Wizards isn't exactly known for their digital expertise. MTGO and Duels can attest to how little attention they give to their online properties.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).

I don't remember that one. What was that about?
They did a sort of escape room event where people who managed to leave the room would get a key-word to send to a specific e-mail account and get back a card spoiled from the set. It was supposed to be a reward for the people invited to the event I guess. The issue is that the e-mail was publicized and the words were just common words related to Innistrad, such as 'Edgar'. Then everybody on salvation sent e-mails with random words from Innistrad and brute-forced the spoiled cards from the e-mail account.
They needed the word to literally be a random code, such as 'A078NE19', or the e-mail account to be secret. But nope, they screwed up. Heir of Falkenrath and Bygone Bishop were two cards that were spoiled that way. There were 2 others, but I don't remember now.

I like that they actually made a map of the locations that will be explored in the set. I hope that this will not just be a 1-time-only thing.
Creative tended not to do timelines and maps in order have a freedom over story and avoiding the "gotcha" moments when they contradict themselves. A song of Ice and Fire had moments like this when Martin wanted a bunch of his characters to end up meeting up in this certain location but then saw at the different speeds and distances these characters where traveling it won't add up for all of them all meeting up there the same time without him needing to write through some hoops.
HOWEVER, Ixalan map and the fact we been getting more solid dates for the mtg timeline means the new creative team might be more opening to doing maps and such.

Wonder if WotC missed an opportunity here. It would be cool to have four cards or so in a set like this that transform into pieces of a treasure map, like the meld creatures from last Innistrad, and if you meet the transform conditions on each piece of the map to put the entire map together it's an instant win condition a la Maze's End.

Ah! I remember hearing about the escape room event, but I hadn't heard about the rest. That's kinda funny, in a pathetic sort of way.

Really sounds like they didn't want to bother with maintaining continuity and consistency with their stories. That is some lazy solution they found.
The lazy solution is ignoring previously established continuity when it become inconvenient. Being purposefully vague is more taxing than you would think.
