Hoo-wee, that's a bomb uncommon alright. If the BW tokens strategy Vampires appear to be rocking extends down to common, it seems like it could be a real solid draft archetype.
Haven't had an Italian class for five years, still translated this perfectly in my head. Winning!
In other news, he seems pretty clunky. Sure he can come back often and he's a 4/4 with flying but that mana cost is pretty prohibitive. He'll only see play in Limited, Casual, and some low-powered Commander decks.
I'm not entirely sure I want this in Edgar Markov. It still costs 6 to cast, which is kinda hefty. Yes it returns to your hand but usually I'd rather be swinging with those tokens so...eh? I mean I'll prolly pick one up as it's an unc but I have my doubts.

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
Given that it is a 4/4 flyer I might be tempted to use this in Limited/Sealed but I am not too pleased that it returns to the hand. Returning directly to the battlefield would make this a real beast even if it does cost 6 mana up front. It will be a good target for when you exert your Champion of Rhonas but if this is your chosen color you will more likely just resurrect it via Liliana.

I'll second this. If this were "Tap three vampires you control: Return ~ from your graveyard to the battlefield. Activate this ability only as a sorcery." The card would feel a lot better.
Or if it had an on-cast effect that would make you want to bring it back to your hand.
As a limited uncommon this is totally fine as is, though. It's just not really great anywhere else.

I think we just went from zombies coming back from the graveyard to vampires coming back from the graveyard. Out with the old and in with the new? Welcome to the new age? Fans of Twilight rejoice?

1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!
Limited bomb for Vampire tokens or Pirate tokens.
Vampires coming back from the dead is not that accurate, but its fine to support better gameplay. (On second thought, Zombie Pirates would be cool)

Psh, Bloodghast has been at it since before it was cool.
Would be crazy in Vampire Madness, if it wasn't rotating with Ixalan's release. There's always Commander.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

It's nothing special:
"O ancient being, we have reached the promised coast. The Immortal Sun is near: drinking and awakening."
Kudos to making Edgar markov

Yeah, too bad it's rotating.
