seems like many LGS only received a case. While Rudy with alpha inv can get 700 cases ! And doesn't even keep his shop open on normal schedule and it's used for warehouse purposes!

Do you have any idea how many patrons that guy has? He moves more product than the majority of LGS locations and at this point he's been one of the best supporters of the MTG community and market out there. Right now, I'm more worried about Wizards potentially creating the True Name Nemesis situation all over again with Teferi's Protection. If I hadn't pre-ordered a set of all the commander decks I'd never have gotten a vampire deck, because they are selling out as fast as Atraxa decks were last year.

1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!

This could be a very real problem,
especially considering that, unlike True-Name Nemesis, Teferi's Protection actually *is* good in EDH—
almost play-it-in-every-White-deck good.
That will probably be a problem no matter how many of these decks they release.

A very rough and informal and in no way scientific examination at TCGPlayer shows that to complete the Vampire deck buying individual cards would cost $78 showing the deck is undercosted by about $28 dollars.
Are we expecting the deck price itself to explode once supply dries up or the card to drop once the market is saturated?
It is intended for EDH, so is this not what we want? No other format is picking the card up, correct?
For what's it's worth my local Walmart and Target have both had clear plastic hard case "grab bags" with extra in inventory they couldn't move that included heavily printed boosters and prior commander products. I saw this a bunch with the 2014-2015 decks, but it's declined. Small sample size but I don't see these as often as I use to. It was a good buy and I was picked up 1-2 just to get some good cards here and there.
Maybe the retailers just had too much product on hand after the rush and they leveled off printing accordingly?
Be careful with those repacks. I bought one recently for the hell of it, and the "deck" was actually a land pack. Caveat emptor.
I once got one of the repacks with a land pack in it. I called the company that produces the pack (I believe contact info was on the package somewhere, or I found it here, this was years ago), and they sent me another deck to make up for the land pack. It was a crappy one, as they typically are, and I can't complain because I once got the Divine and Demonic decks in a single repack.

They didn't ask for any proof when I called.
