I imagine we are gonna see a bunch of new cards that are wizards with ETB effects, looking through gatherer there aren't that many really great effects for this gal to abuse.
Or tappingwizards. I think that's actually what they're going for here, since it makes no sense sending your wizards (which don't have the best P/Ts, usually) into the red zone.
Weird card, especially the second ability. So aggressive.
Tap 5 for 7 damage gives Wizards something to do other than just draw. But the Eminence is a little awkward. Temporary Wizard copies don't do much. The best wizards are legendary, and the best non-legendary is probably Patron Wizard, who would only be around for that turn for 1. Eh. It's good for people who want Grixis Wizards but if there's no color preference, Azami continues to reign as the best Wizard and among the best commanders overall.
The only purpose of the token generation, to trigger Intruder Alarm an additional time and tap your wizards, like there's no tomorrow
No there isn't you just keep the token to the Legend rule and let the real one die.
If you have tons of mana to spare and you're going for maximum "prove some guy on the internet wrong" petty, you let the triggered ability go on the stack, return arcanis to your hand before it resolves, and then you make a copy and draw 3 cards.
I'm not sure how I feel about the eminence ability, but I do like the second ability. I think she should have had some way to untap wizards you control, but maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised by the deck itself.
No he is right here is the text from a card that Sundial works with
See the difference.
Perhaps more clear in oracle
Card Name:
Sedris, the Traitor King
Mana Cost:
3BlueBlackRed
Converted Mana Cost:
6
Types:
Legendary Creature — Zombie Warrior
Card Text:
Each creature card in your graveyard has unearth 2Black. (2Black: Return the card to the battlefield. The creature gains haste. Exile it at the beginning of the next end step or if it would leave the battlefield. Unearth only as a sorcery.)
The text in Sedris' oracle is exactly the same as the one from Inalla, if it follows the standard model. It is just a delayed trigger that happens at the end step, same as kiki-jiki. If you let the trigger enter the stack and then exile it with sundial, you're golden. The trigger won't trigger again, and since it was exiled, the effect won't happen. It works.

Would you like to read Commander stories? Check my latest stories, coming from Lorwyn and Innistrad: Ghoulcaller Gisa and Doran, The Siege Tower! If you like my writing, ask me to write something for your commander as well!
I'm surprised no one noticed the obvious combo with the new Bloodline Necromancer and Ashnod's Altar/Phyrexian Altar or any other sac that gives mana. Infinite hasty tokens to kill the table, as well as death/etb triggers.
Yes, it does work. Just let the trigger happen and then activate sundial with it on the stack. You will keep the token and it won't trigger again.
Anyway, this is a weird card. In a way it makes all your wizards cost more, since you probably want to copy them all. Oh well, I'm sure someone will find a way to abuse this.
EDIT: looking at the ETB wizards, almost all of them seem very mediocre, especially given that you don't get to keep the token. Maybe the value is worth it, but this is looking like the worst emminence general as of yet, worse than the Ur-Dragon. I would scale them as Cat=Vampire > dragon > wizard. DISCLAIMER: analysis based on 1v1. For multiplayer, where games are slower, she is probably one of the best. Something like wizards > vampire > dragon > cat.
Yep just remembered that.
Oh doesn't necessary have to be ETB triggered wizards it can be activatable abilities
My thoughts exactly. Can't believe how many people are missing that one. snappy/archaeo is probably the next grossest thing you can do (especially with extra turn crap), but there's a lot of other very gross things you can do.
This card is extraordinarily powerful, supports quite a few already-powerful cards, and is essentially impossible to interact with.
God I hate imminence, what a horrible idea. At least the other ones suck (mostly by virtue of supporting "tribes" that suck). Of course wotc gives the busted-est ability to the already busted-est "tribe". Great job.

Would that interaction require saccing the token as soon as it gets into play?
Even if it does, it seems like a very solid play!
If the goal is to bounce my own venser, I'd just stack venser's ability above Inalla's and return him to my hand, then let Inalla's trigger resolve to bounce the permanent/spell I'm gunning for.
Sorry, I just don't see it. Great ability but terrible creature type to attach it to. I don't really see any ETB wizards that make me want build a deck around this. I suppose it is Grixis so maybe a sacrifice theme would be worth exploring. Ugh, sometimes I feel WotC goes out of their way to give us the worst versions of the best concepts
I think this is the first EDH deck where Mirror Gallery is actually incredibly good. (Maybe Riku, but I think that's a stretch even) It's a shame she says "another" but there's a lot of legendary wizards to get value off of with her.

Check out the thread for my cube if you have the time, and tell me how terrible it is.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)
This card is completely nuts. I'd build her immediately if she wasn't liable to get banned in two seconds. Oloro may be annoying, but he doesn't effect the gamestate nearly as much. Unlike the other three eminence generals, her eminence ability provides an absurd amount of value, doubling all the etb and self-sac effects on your wizards. Nobody will ever cast her, since tapping creatures to damage people can literally just be done by attacking. The combo potential here is massive, with cards such as Treasure Mage, Snapcaster Mage, Master of Waves, and Vendilion Clique all becoming stupid for the low price of one extra mana. Hell, I didn't even know Thalakos Deceiver existed until thirty seconds ago, but it sure is busted with Inalla! Not to mention that with Panharmonicon you get four times the effect. Expect her to leave the format even faster than Leovold did, people.

Wizards decides to print a decent card.
Players break the card by adding literally the most logical additions to the deck.
Wizards bans the card(s).
Wizards employees go home and fall asleep after crying for an hour.
There is a problem with the first one you linked
Dragons of Legend, Lead by Scion of the UR-Dragon
The Gitrog Monster
Gonti, Lord of Luxury
Shogun Saskia
Hive World
Atraxa hates fun
Abzan
The only purpose of the token generation, to trigger Intruder Alarm an additional time and tap your wizards, like there's no tomorrow
Aether Adept
Anathemancer
Archaeomancer
Harbinger of the Tides
Puppeteer Clique
Sidisi's Faithful
Snapcaster Mage
Stern Proctor
Vedalken Plotter
Azami, Lady of Scrolls has excellent synergy with the Eminence for obvious reasons.
Also worth considering but probably not good enough:
Impact Tremors
Warstorm Surge
Thoughts? Any other ideas for how to brew for Inalla, Archmage Ritualist?

The ability is definitely powerful but narrow.
Read my other stories as well (some ongoing):

Yep just remembered that.
Oh doesn't necessary have to be ETB triggered wizards it can be activatable abilities
Oh throw in Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker 2 clones of the wizards instead

There's not to many etb wizards that are good
It's mostly activated ability wizards that exist as more handy.
Plus there is a ton of stuff that could interfere with her tricks
