I like how the curse cards all feature the same chap in comedic situations.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Teferi's protection is the first clean answer to overload Cyclonic Rift that is not a counterspell.
Edgar is dope. Ban-worthy in 1v1.

These curses are great. They provide a boon to you and encourage other players to attack the cursed play at the same time. You always benefit the most, unlike previous attempts at curses.

BTW, they confirmed(Story podcast) there's a Taigam card(From the no-dragons Tarkir timeline) in the Wizards deck.
Well I'll be. They're actually acknowledging the Khans timeline again. I'm guessing he'll be either Dimir or Grixis since he's in a Grixis deck and doesn't give me a green vibe to be Sultai.
Taigam was confirmed late monday and spoiled whenever the leaks happened like 2 months ago.
I was confused about the curses as well. Had to reread it three times to understand the intent, but I like how they work. the green one looks awesome. I love untapping.

I think it's pretty much guaranteed he's UB, since he was a member of the Sultai in the Khans timeline.

That was the Dragons of Tarkir Ojutai-aligned Taigam.
Apparently we are also getting a Dimir Taigam that is Sultai-aligned. Or maybe monoblue.

Not sure why so many people are getting confused over the Curse wording.
Vampire guy is generic but not terrible. Pretty solid.
I love the phasing spell, everything about it is just so fun
The new curses... i dont like them, theyre very poorly worded and are too big of a boon to my opponents, i think? Again theyre poorly worded
They actually are more of a boon to you than previous curses. Formerly, ifthecursedealtwith someone attacking, it only affected the attacker. Now you get a bonus too. Curse of Disturbance is, actually, strictly better.
EDIT: With the style of dress, the mix between country-style dwellings and big city surroundings, and the effects of the curses themselves, I think our Cursed Friend might be from Fiora.

Because it is bad (not unlike that guy's hair) and not like previous wordings for us to compare it to. Similar to the problem folks were having with Torment of Hailfire
"whenever enchanted player is attacked.." it means you get a trigger of the effect whenever anyone attacks that player, in addition to the opponent that is attacking.
Thinking about it, Teferi's Protection and Disrupt Decorum would lead to some fun times in most Commander games...together, your board state is protected and you're basically invincible while everyone else has to attack each other.
Combine this with multiple 'skip turn' effects, and this gets hilarious. (Note Goad says 'until your next turn'.)
Yesssssssss... I love it. This needs to be a deck.
Poor man, he has all the curses
I love the art on Teferi's protection. Notice all the phyrexian planar portals deploying in the sky.
Yeah, but Teferi's Protection should have an "If Jeska reds it up, you lose the game." clause, just, given what happened to Zhalfir.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Wow, just wow. I pinched myself because I thought I was dreaming when I saw phasing in the card text. I think they should consider using phasing more often. Because its the safety of blinking something in order to avoid its destruction but not the abusability of ETB or LTB effects.
Edgar would be good if most vampires weren't 4cmc+ or limited crap.
Vampires should have been a midrange deck, not the dumb aggro. I expected the red deck to be ***** like always, but I expected that to be Dragons, not Vampires.

I'm kind of hoping we get a Legendary Wizard that can phase permanents in and out now for protection or removal!

Holy smoke Teferi's protection. Like angel's grace on steroid. (Okay, what it does is entirely different, I'm talking about the spirit of the card.)
That probably means we get a Teferi card, right?

This is on a whole other level, since it's temporary Fog + Leyline of Sanctity + all your permanents are untouchable.
