Teferi's Protection is a neat card. Shows and references a character, and has a powerful effect. I was surprised to see phasing return. Did a double take on that one. Seems like a nice way to give that mechanic a shot. I'm guessing this is basically a pseudo-Hexproof for your permanents?
Teferi's Protection is awesome, instantly goes into all of my White decks, and hopefully says something about Dominaria...
It depicts an event from the Phyrexian Invasion...;)
Oh, I'm aware. I'm just hoping that this means that we'll see Teferi in Dominaria.
Wouldn't the phasing remove the imprint
Actually, no, which is a big feature of phasing over blinking. Phasing never makes the card leave the battlefield, so it doesn't 'forget' what it exiled.
Thinking about it, Teferi's Protection and Disrupt Decorum would lead to some fun times in most Commander games...together, your board state is protected and you're basically invincible while everyone else has to attack each other.

Combine this with multiple 'skip turn' effects, and this gets hilarious. (Note Goad says 'until your next turn'.)
Wow! Teferi's Protection has me spinning! I'm already trying to think of ways to skip all of my turns, and play a game of Magic without ever losing the protection. This card just has so much potential.

WUBRGMr. Bones' Wild RideGRBUW Trap your friends in an endless game with this 23-card combo!
Have one ready to go then cast teferi's protection and then its howdy doody time
(Remeber everything comes back before the upkeep they come back on untap phase.)
Edit: Nevermind. I forgot about the your life can't change part. I guess the only way you can die is if there is a non-targeted opponents lose the game, non-targeted mill, or someone else gets an alt. win-con

Best way might actually be Jhoira with fast mana of various kinds. Requires Jeskai (and thus Jhoira not being your Commander) but might work. Sort of telegraphs it though.
Whenever enchanted player is attacked, you gain 2 life. Each opponent attacking that player does the same.
Does what?
Gains 2 life.
The Curses basically say 'whenever the cursed player is attacked, you and each opponent attacking them does X.'
I suppose, but your wording makes it so much clearer.
Edit: I guess they wanted a way to make it clear that only you and the attacking player get the benefit. As well as not letting you 'double-dip' for attacking them.
BTW, they confirmed(Story podcast) there's a Taigam card(From the no-dragons Tarkir timeline) in the Wizards deck.
Well I'll be. They're actually acknowledging the Khans timeline again. I'm guessing he'll be either Dimir or Grixis since he's in a Grixis deck and doesn't give me a green vibe to be Sultai.
To the cards in this thread, I like the idea of the Curses and the potential politics bring to the table, but I'm not sure I'd play them myself. Also the poor guy in their art can't catch a break.
Edgar is also cool, but Teferi's Protection? I wasn't expecting a card to have both phasing (wow) and Progenitus's ability, and even if I did, I wouldn't expect it to give you protection from everything and phase out all of your things. The planar portals in the background are a nice touch.

Just a small part of it,but yes. There are Planar Portals hanging there
Let this great clan rest in peace (2001-2011)
If 'pseudo' means 'much much better', then yes.
Oh, I'm aware. I'm just hoping that this means that we'll see Teferi in Dominaria.

OTOH, how does Phasing work with Oblivion Rings?
Chronatog says Hello.
Eh, we can still have our time-out-button-on-a-stick with elite arcanist if we so desire, but it's infinitely more fragile.
Standard - RIP Cat
Modern - Death & Taxes
Commander - Mazirek, Trostani, Angry Omnath

The curse cycle: that dies got a bad day and hate someone but group hug for everybody else.

That deck would also get access to Soulfire Grand Master which is a wonderful combo with Disrupt Decorum.

The Curses basically say 'whenever the cursed player is attacked, you and each opponent attacking them does X.'
The opposite of a defending player (which the enchanted player would be) is an attacking player, so the wording is fine.
Phasing makes me smile. I recently purchased an Equipoise for the lulz, and this may need to go in the same deck. Mono-W phasing.dec?

Yeah, I was being a bit sarcastic about the players thing

I love the phasing spell, everything about it is just so fun
The new curses... i dont like them, theyre very poorly worded and are too big of a boon to my opponents, i think? Again theyre poorly worded
