Weird... they JUST printed Mirage Mirror,
which is usually better than this.
I don't think Mirage Mirror is usually better. This costs 2 to cast and 1 to activate versus 3 to cast and 2 to activate. That's very significant if you know you are copying creatures. Oh, I'll just copy my Priest of Titania and make all this mana.
This is neither better nor worse than Mirage Mirror I agree. And people forget one can play both in EDH, which I will. I find myself copying creatures more with Mirage Mirror anyway, and often my own too.
I don't really know what you're asking—
you definitely can run both, but for Slivers,
I might opt for this one over Mirage Mirror.
Most of the time, copying another Sliver will be better than copying someone else's whatever.
I would prefer Mirage Mirror in any deck without a very heavy tribal theme, though.

I think this all depends on how they rule Mirage Mirror. The key difference is that the mirror from HOU does not remain an artifact when it transforms if one follows the text on the card explicitly. That makes it far more difficult to actually get rid of compared to this one.

3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!

A lot of these any-tribe cards are awesome (in which you A) choose a creature type when entering, or B) can adjust to a creature type in play). I've been wanting to brew a few different tribes that do not have a Lord yet, such as apes, squids, constructs, and horrors. They should be relatively inexpensive casual decks to build.

Artifact uncommon
When this enters the battlefield choose a creature type
1: until end of turn this becomes a copy of target creature you control of the chosen type, except it's. A artifact I. Addition to its other types
My thoughts mirage mirror is better that targets anything even outside creature (and creature types.)
which is usually better than this.

It's not bad, but I agree that Mirage Mirror is almost always the better fit, though being cheaper overall could be a selling point.
You put them in there with the other cards.

Priest of Titania, Elvish Archdruid, Dwynen, as the worst case; Elves was my 1st thought, but they're already so streamlined,

Copying your own Dwynen seems like a very very bad case indeed.
