So, this is the Vampire Wizard overlap uncommon. Seems my hunch will be correct; that each pair of decks gets an overlap uncommon, and evidently those uncommons will each care about two tribes.
So the pairs left are:
W Cats Vampires U Dragons Wizards R Dragons Vampires G Cats Dragons C Cats Wizards
Two of them go infinite with a free sac out? One goes infinite with an opposing Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite.
Not quite. You have to have a valid target when the ability goes on the stack, so by the time the Necromancer is in the 'yard, it's too late to target.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
It would be cool if this card is in Edgar Markov and the Wizards.
Pretty sure it can and will be, the rares and mythics are the ones that are only in one deck.

“There are no weak Jews. I am descended from those who wrestle angels and kill giants. We were chosen by God. You were chosen by a pathetic little man who can't seem to grow a full mustache"
"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
This really should have said "that shares a creature type with it" instead so it could combo eaiser to get back more than just these types. It's already awkwardly costed for a narrow tribal card. I guess it would have had to use a non-targeted wording to let you change its type with the trigger on the stack.
Of note, it looks like the uncommons in this set of decks will bridge two deck's tribes. Since Wizard is the only class, it'll be curious to see how this works with the others assuming there are others and that those others are creatures.
What I'm excited by is Vampires and cats share white, will we see a mono-white Vampire Cat?
Seems likely. I could see a vampiric Ajani's Pridemate, though it's got to tribally care about Cats and Vampires in some way. Since Bloodline Necromancer does a tribal black effect, perhaps our Cat Vampire does a tribal white effect like an ETB +1/+1 UEOT ability, or putting a +1/+1 counter on each Cat and Vampire you control?
The monogreen Cat Dragon will be the really interesting one. Maybe that card will care about Cats and Dragons but won't itself be a Cat Dragon or even necessarily a creature? Perhaps an enchantment or sorcery?

Since we know the wizards podcast is on Wednesday it would a safe guess that Tuesday is vampires.

There will probably be a blue Magus but it most likely won't be a Timetwister effect because of the mechanical overlap with Magus of the Wheel. It's possible that it could be a Magus of the Tide. I could see that happening over a Timetwister or any extra turn card, especially because of the need to sac these spell-Magi.

Then we'll just be short Magus of the Balance and a green magus. (I have some ideas on what that could be)

Well, vampirism isn't a race so much as an affliction, and we've seen both cat and dragon vampires before. All that leaves is a cat dragon, and we've already even seen one of those in this set. So it seems very doable. Honestly the only weird part would be how the colors fall if this is a cycle.

I agree that Blue won't be a draw 7, as it's pretty much Wheel, but I also think the current cycle they are slow-rolling is Sorceries.
What they won't do is Magus of Upheaval. Maybe Tinker?

I know he thinks I'm impressed by a 102 MPH fastball in the 9th inning... Ok, I'm impressed, but that doesn't mean I can't crush it.
This is one of those cards that only makes sense in the context of the set it's in and nowhere else. Out of context it feels really weird and awkward.
That said, it's a pretty good card in the right deck. Or either of the exactly two decks, I should say.
Also, this means that tomorrow/today's "tribe of the day" is vampires, which is a relief since we already know all the dragon Commanders and redundant spoilers aren't fun for anyone.
Two of them go infinite with a free sac out? One goes infinite with an opposing Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite.
Not quite. You have to have a valid target when the ability goes on the stack, so by the time the Necromancer is in the 'yard, it's too late to target.
Actually, if I'm not mistaken, if your opponent controls an Elesh Norn (as suggested), then when the Necormancer enters the battlefield it will be a 1/0. So its ETB ability will trigger, but before it can be put on the stack, state-based actions are checked and will put the Necromancer into the graveyard. At this point you put the ETB on the stack, and the Necromancer is then a valid target.
So you can go "infinite" with just the one if an opponent has Elesh Norn. You would just need something like Impact Tremors to take advantage of it.
The ability is put on the stack the moment it triggers; there is no inbetween step for state-based actions to be checked. By the time state-based actions can put the Necromancer into the graveyard, the ability has already targeted a card or fizzled.

A quick check of the rules seems to support me, but I could be misinterpreting.
603.3 - Once an ability has triggered, its controller puts it on the stack as an object that’s not a card the next time a player would receive priority. See rule 116, “Timing and Priority.” The ability becomes the topmost object on the stack. It has the text of the ability that created it, and no other characteristics. It remains on the stack until it’s countered, it resolves, a rule causes it to be removed from the stack, or an effect moves it elsewhere.
704.3 - Whenever a player would get priority (see rule 116, “Timing and Priority”), the game checks for any of the listed conditions for state-based actions, then performs all applicable state-based actions simultaneously as a single event. If any state-based actions are performed as a result of a check, the check is repeated; otherwise all triggered abilities that are waiting to be put on the stack are put on the stack, then the check is repeated. Once no more state-based actions have been performed as the result of a check and no triggered abilities are waiting to be put on the stack, the appropriate player gets priority. This process also occurs during the cleanup step (see rule 514), except that if no state-based actions are performed as the result of the step’s first check and no triggered abilities are waiting to be put on the stack, then no player gets priority and the step ends.
So the ability will trigger, but before it can go on the stack, state based actions are checked.
Like that 6 drop vampire that removed counters of whatever from that one year, i think this one is also overrated (and over costed) and will see zero play within a month after release

A few reasons. Its 5 mana in a color that has cards like animate dead, dance of the dead, necromancy, and reanimate. Yes, youre paying extra for a body (a good one) but there also arent an over abundance of wizards that end up in the yard, or much in the way of commanders utilizing that. Im not saying its a bad card, im just saying that its currently overrated as there are much better alternatives that will be applicable in a wider array of situations
That may change with whatever the new wizard commanders are

Yeah but you need a shapeshifting vampire or wizard, as you can't have two of these in your commander deck.
