I wonder what our collector has to say about Rags // Riches? Also, does not nerf Greed.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Oh sweet baby kittens. This is so anti-wheel effects, I love it.
EDIT: IT HAS FLASH?!?! YOOOOOO
Anti-wheel? AFAIC, this reads: Wheel effects are now: you draw 7+#opponents, all opponents discard down to one random card. So You play as many as you can with this guy. For bonus points, it makes the flavour text extra ironic.
Though someone flashing in a Notion Thief in response would kind of suck. (How exactly do they interact, anyway?)
This will likely annoy me a good deal on several occasions. I expect it to be very popular, as white desperately needs card draw. We'll have a rocky relationship though, as I desperately need Mulldrifter to be gas. Oh well. Great art and flavor to boot.

Take that, Nekusar. White can always use some extra cards and this happens to be a hoser too, I like it a lot.
Well, it depends. This does screw over storm and Laboratory Maniac wins, and makes playing wheels generally a bad idea, but this helps everyone but you weather the Underworld Dreams, Forced Fruition, and Megrim-type effects. You know, the other side of Nekusar. That's the cool thing about Johnny commanders like this.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
just in time to hose all the locust god decks that have popped up recently. thank ****. totally sick of shuffling and watching someone durdle for 10 minutes and not win.
Does this limit an opponent to only one card a turn and you to an additional one if he draws more? It does not say you draw an equal amount, just one more.

Not exactly. Only an instance when an opponent draws 2 or more cards. If he draws 10 cards separately (example: activates azami by tapping 10 wizards one at a time), he gets to draw all 10. But if he activates arcanis (draw 3), you and the opponent draw one instead.
I know they seldom do symmetrical effects nowadays (and this one is harder to word for symmetry), but the flavor text feels hypocritical when the effect is one-sided that you are the only player who can "profit" from drawing many cards at once. At least the Orzhov were presented as blatantly greedy to us (and it's implied that the city more or less knows it, so basically some citizens were either really desperate or really stupid).
Even gameplay-wise, if this was symmetrical it would quite the secret tech for competitive groups who have a tendency to end games with Blue Sun's Zenith on each other players (it still is tech for those ending games by using it on themselves though).

History has proven time and time again that the leaders of the poor are anything but, and that those who scream for more equality the loudest are often the ones who are more equal than the rest... and thus more interested in preserving the status quo than realizing actual change but I digress. So yeah, this thing is the perfect example of how white colorpiewise would force your opponents to play fair

The secret to enjoyable Commander games is not winning first, but losing last.
If my post has no tags, then i posted from my phone.
Hmm, this will require some rules updates. Up until now, cards were only ever drawn one by one, so replacing multidraws is not supported...
Came here to say the same. My guess is 614.11 will be updated with an additional clause that applies to a groups of cards first, then to individual cards. Makes the most sense in my initial thinking on it, but we'll see what they do.
The interaction I'm most interested in is consecrated sphinx. If you have this and your opponent had sphinx, doesn't that mean you both would draw 1 card each until your opponent wants to stop? Feels like a Trade Secrets interaction to me.
If nothing else, if you have less cards in your deck then your opponent with sphinx does, then couldn't he force you to deck out? Crazy
Also, Truce and its strictly worse from Portal won't work. Each opponent will just draw one card and gain 2 life.
