I'm positive this is correct theres ben stuff pointing toward it
the card sleeves reveals a magic ring and the cloaked dudes are powering it up.
and a dude on facebook is claiming to be the same guy who leaked the dragons and what did he say what tribe the lady is...Grixis Wizards.
besides they deserved this they are 7th on the most done according to edhrec. and they need a command that can use the wizards outside U for this case now we can throw in BR wizards now.
Dont put words in my mouth, you're the one entertaining the notion that these things aren't possible. I never stated that wizards couldn't do or have those things, just that they were a-typical for representations of wizards, in my eyes.
"The clothing is too humble/nondescript for wizards"
"the face tattoo is a thing we don't see wizards doing"
These two I can say I didn't put in your mouth. You meant that because wizards tend to have flair and lack of face tattoos, these things look off, and I get that, but that is not evidence against them being wizards, especially since Wizard was one of the big guesses as to what these guys are, which means that there were still enough clues to that fact.
As for the rest, you also said that the scene was far too ritualistic looking for the mannerism and secular nature of wizards, even though we frequently don't see a group of them, which is a recurring theme in this Commander product. Wizards can and have used magical artifacts to aid their magic, and not every wizard can make portals anywhere.
You're chasing a ghost man, I don't see why you're trying to oppose my thoughts when you yourself provided an example of something a-typical for wizards - being depicted in the scene - We're both now providing reasons for the same point, that the imagery is off for wizards
The handling of this product has been a horrendous mess. We know more about the next Un-Set being released months from now and all we have to show for this are a partial unofficial leak, four accident artwork and an 80 page thread of trash.
E-Sage, love your Silas avatar <3
Absolutely, and the fact that they consider 4 podcasts over the product acceptable PR ahead of time is a bit strange in and of itself imo. Why didn't they give the 4 face cards at SDCC like they have in the past? It just seems like such an odd decision on their part to me.

Then let me summarize it for you: Anything atypical about this scene (apart from maybe the woman's dress code) boils down to the Eminence mechanic. If I was tasked with depicting a group of wizards being subservient to a single wizard lord, I'd have produced a scene similar to this.

I agree. It's all just awkward. At the same time though, I do feel August is a better time of year to get Commander products, so they did well by moving up the release date.

Wizards makes sense having cats as the unexpected. Apart from the Amonkhet cats, the last cat tribalish card I remember is Brimaz.
Cats got promoted in this batch and Amonkhet mostly due to people requested for it. Originally commander product comes out every November, the three month difference led to four decks instead of five this year, I wonder which other tribe Wiz had to get rid off to squeeze the cats in.
Interesting that U and G got the short end of the stick....
Even if i usually long for new green and blue cards (i want fatties), i'm happy with this decision. Blue and green are the strongest colors in the format, so they donìt get left behind so much.
By the way, they will print 3 commander for every tribe? That means 3 mardu vampires and 3 grixis wizards?
Dragons has 3 "confirmed" 5 color new dragons (Ramos/Ur-Dragon/Odachi), and 2 new other dragons commanders (Wasatoria and Taigim), so I would imagine a similar spread in the other decks.
1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!
Blake is the head of Wizards PR he is not Schmoe Twitter guy. My guess is this magazine article hit just a little early before the story podcast on Wednesday, and they finally said screw it there's no point keeping it a secret. I restarted the thread so the discussion can move on from "what tribes will they be?" Let me make this clear
The tribes are now confirmed, posts speculating otherwise will be considered spam and receive a warning
I guess I'll stick around to watch what gets spoiled to see where they go with design space, otherwise I'm almost certain I'm not even buying singles from this.
Mardu Vampires sounds like it has the potential to be the strongest of the group. I'm not really sure about Grixis Wizards, but they got new cards in the works to make things work so who knows.

The dragons have friggin' Ramos (That guy's gonna be dumb I'm calling it now) going for it but I think Grixis Wizards will probably be the Heavenly Inferno/Mind Seize/Breed Lethality of the bunch.

I'm hoping it doesn't turn into Heavenly Inferno. That deck is so expensive that it's not even worth buying the deck, as at 75 usd for the anthologies version the total deck cost is about 90 dollars and the entire deck needs doctoring to really take off. Albeit, I'm pretty sure they will build Grixis Wizards better than Heavenly Inferno as the later was literally the first step wizards ever took into the EDH waters.

One thing we know about the other Commanders is that they won't care about Tribal specifically. The face cards will, and their alternatives will still play well with their tribe, but the alternatives will offer strategic angles beyond "play lots of tribal creatures".

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
I've only seen one picture of a bunch of Japanese text and a generic picture of a Commander box. Where is there a picture of wizards hanging out that people are debating about? Sorry, I appear to have missed it.

The now locked other thread has a translation showing the Kanji for red/black/blue mana symbols next to "Wizaado" also in Kanji. Also pages in has images of the card sleeves which show the magic circle.

I always pick up the entire set, but if I really need to pick one, it'd be either vampire or wizard.

And these 4 tribes chosen I approve them.
