I'm sensing that this card is going to become a meme.
I really hope it does. I'm still sad Garbage Fire never became a meme.
What are you talking about? People bring up hot garbage around here all the time! But Life Goes On.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
I wonder what the last thing to enter Kefnet's mind was?

STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.
Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
Ugh. I hate how Wizards has this habit of introducing a new mechanic by name, then reusing it in a later set but not naming it this time around so as not to confuse new players. Life Goes On should be a Morbid card.

There seem to be two very valid sides to this particular coin.
The pro-using-the-names side: it's easier to find things when you're looking for the keyword in Gatherer or any other searchable listing of cards. I clearly remember around the time of Ravnica when they ability worded Radiance (the Boros mechanic of target x and permanents that share a colour with that permanent) that this was the logic applied and it feels like it should always apply.
The anti-using-the-names side: without block support (either mechanical or flavour) the keyword/ability word feels forced and out of place. SO, do you not print Life Goes On, Inventor's Fair when they would fit nicely in the block and provide a much needed resource? I think the environment needs these cards.
Now, personally I'm for using the keyword but I'm not paid to make the cards.

I'd be fine with the ability word not being on the card itself, if they at least put it in the oracle text. That way, you could more easily search for corresponding cards on Gatherer. But, no, if you want Inventors' Fair to show up in a search for Metalcraft, or Bloodhall Priest to show up in a search for Hellbent, you have to type it all out.

Yes, I think putting it in the official Oracle text only is the best solution, maybe down the road.

(That said, it's a perfectly cromulent sideboard card in burn formats.)
