Ooo. Neat for casual / legacy, but sadly not Modern legal.
Also, you can cast Leave and sac Bomat at opponent's end step, then win in your upkeep. Breakthrough is sorcery - you'd have to make yourself barren in your main phase and hope everything stays intact through a full opponent turn.

I dunno, the extra mana vs. losing a dude to Scapegoat seems to favor Scapegoat in that deck. Mana tends to be pretty tight.

So its a way to get back your things against control magic in EDH or even against Lili in standard if she brings back your guy
