So let me get this straight, one creature gets trample and at least +1/+1 until end of turn. Then while also tapping two of your opponents creatures this gives your whole team vigilance. All for just three mana.
This just seems really rather efficient to do all that for so little.
This is going to end a lot of games, especially if there is a board stall going on.
Not bad but I feel like I definitely would have been happy to pay another 1 for Appeal to make these both instants.
Given that the back side grants vigilance, it makes sense as a sorcery, but Instant -> Sorcery for 1G -> 1W would maybe have worked? It's pretty strong as-is.
Yeah, what this block's limited format really needed was another bomby uncommon that heavily penalized blocking and ended games early. Maybe in the fall set, they can just only print creatures that can't block. God forbid a control deck is possible in limited.
This would have been solid without the tap down. With it this is an amazing finisher for limited that could even break into constructed if a GW tokens deck is viable.
Anyone else think the name "Appeal to Authority" should have been green/black. It sounds like it could have been a pretty cool reference to the old magic combo of yore which was putting Lure on a creature with deathtouch (or pseudo deathtouch like Thicket Basilisk). Appeal is nearly a synonym of lure, and authority sounds like it could have easily been a black spell that grants deathtouch to a creature.

Appeal is nice for strategies about going wide.

If these were both instant not only it would make it to standard but modern as well
Getting the death shadow or Tarmogoyf a nice huge buff easily if they were I stand you can get them lethal enough for huge damage.
Certainly fits with R&D's manifesto of pushing mid-range creatures.

If this was instant, it would be worth considering over Berserk. Smaller bump (sometimes), but you don't lose the creature.

I hope they stop doing this frame in the future because I really like aftermath cards in general.

I'll quote Melissa DeTora from the first ever Play Design article last Friday, and point out that more powerful does not necessarily equal more fun.
I'll now open the floor for everyone present to flame and e-bury me as they see fit.
