So flavorfully it's a big ole vat of molten lazotep? I guess that one makes sense.
Hasty Eternals are pretty scary, of course. This is definitely a good finisher in Limited; pity about it the Gate discount since it's a rare that must be fetched by an uncommon.
I swear I first read it as Wingbonger...something tells me that "As Long as Wingbonger is paired with another creature, both creatures have weed." wouldn't be as good. Seems solid for limited.
Casting cost aside--in before complaints about it costing 7--this allows for a free eternalize once per turn, even if the creature innately has eternalize. Could be very handy.
Just for fun, run this in a deck with Eldrazi creatures and Coax From the Blind Eternities. Okay, at the beginning of combat I exile Thought-Knot Seer to get a copy of it, then next turn I will bring it back to my hand and summon it.
Could be interesting in EDH with the original Grenzo. Pay 2 to put the bottom of your library into gy, if it's too big for Grenzo to reanimate himself, this will eternalize it for you on upkeep.
Well this is stupid. Gate discount doesn't even matter. You don't exile a damn thing when combat ends. Deal with this card or lose nine times outta ten.
Going to be though getting it out turn 3, since you have to have 6 creatures in the yard.
Not really, considering the Tutor allows you to loot when a non-token creature you control dies. Combine this with Collective Brutality turn 4, even nuking your own creature if you have too, and turn it online.
Btw, Cycling along with Madness are in this standard, I can't see it being all that hard to fill your 'yard considering this belongs in a creature heavy deck.

It's actually at the beginning of combat, so you can get it that same turn.
Aye, this is pretty good. Now the question is: What creatures do I want in the grave that would benefit from this?
Well there is Needle Specter and Whispering Specter that attack the hand more if they are bigger. Also infect in general probably loves this so cards like Blighted Agent for starters would want to become a 4/4. Also Phyrexian Crusader becoming a 4/4 with haste would be a fairly big boon. While not infect, Cold-Eyed Selkie would benefit you greatly by being able to draw 4 cards whenever she dealt damage.
I'm sure their is plenty other examples I'm missing as their must be some creatures that want to be bigger.
Playing since 1994: Currently MAGS (HomeBrew),Standard & Pauper (Pioneer and Modern are degenerate trash formats)
STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.
Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
Not to dampen the party but how can we have the Gate and 6 creatures in the yard by then?
In constructed it isn't that hard - discard stuff with Noose Constrictor, Buried Alive some goons, mill yourself with Compelling Argument and similar such cards. In limited yeah, it's going to be next to impossible even with those self-mill and cycling cards.
Here's hoping for a Buried Alive reprint here; it would be a sick add for Modern and Standard.

I was underwhelmed until I read it again and realized that the tokens aren't 4/4 hasty french vanillas, they're copies of the creatures you exile AND the tokens stay on the battlefield.
It seems pretty obvious to me that you would play this in a creature heavy deck with lots of self mill and cycling.
The only problem I see with this is the fact that Hour of Devastation includes a lot of graveyard hate that will exile your whole yard.

Obviously pretty awesome in commander. I especially like it in my blue white lavinia deck, since it has lots of ETB effects and few graveyard recursion methods.
I don't see this being a home run in constructed, but I could see a few fun FNM decks made with this.

Only problem is once the token dies it's gone forever.
