Claim seems very good and relevant in certain decks.

I believe someone here was asking for a good reanimation spell?

This is no Reanimate,
but I see a lot of potential here.

We'll never see Reanimate become Modern legal. Unlike Fatal Push, which was their AER spoiler, this won't see any play in Legacy, as they'd just play Unearth. But for Modern, this is really good for getting back a card like Bob or Goyf or Death's Shadow.

Pseudo-Unearth without the cycling, but with added potential juice at the end. Not bad.

Claim is good. Comparable to Unearth. Fame is okay and the synergy is cute.

This and Unearth can walk hand in hand.

Alright so its like Unearth and Reckless Charge, I can dig it.

This is neat with Zombies IMO. An alternative way of getting back Dread Wanderer, Scrapheap Scrounger and Cryptbreaker, and give them haste (well not Wanderer, because it ETBs tapped).

I was hoping it was Temmet but Nice card nonetheless

This seems viable in Grixis shadow, 1 mana to recur Death's Shadow or Snapcaster Mage is definitely worth testing.

Or BB: Return snap and shadow

If you can cast both halves this is clearly better in constructed than Unearth, if the deck wants to target 2 mana creatures anyway, but it gets a lot worse if you would want to target True-Name Nemesis and the like.

This still provides some value in a Deathshadow deck that uses all the 1-2 mana threats instead of the Delve creatures.

A Jund Deathshadow might get quite some value out of this (maybe add Snapcaster as a 4th color).
Seems to have potential, even if the flashback part isnt really great.

In standard this is pretty solid in a deck like zombies, but it really shines in older formats like modern where you have access to insanely pushed 1 and 2 drops like Shadow, Snapcaster, Tarmogoyf, Confidant ...

I agree this seems like a natural fit in shadow. Deck is already clearly the best in modern right now, if this does indeed make its way into the deck the added resilience it gives seems like it would push the deck over the top. You tapped out to wrath my shadow on turn 4? no problem I'll reanimate it with haste and +2 + 0 until eot and have it stick around after. Far too good. It's also not irrelevant that later in the game you'd no doubt have a fame sitting in the yard that you can cast to give your hardcast shadow/delve fattie haste and +2. Imagine gurmag angler. 7/5 haste for 3 mana (delve/fame).

The problem with this card is it looks at the CMC rather than power of a creature. Reanimate with upside for goyf/deaths shadow is too strong for modern I reckon.

Why is this uncommon aftermath better than most of the rare aftermaths?

Reanimates 25 out of the 50 most played creatures in modern. Oh and Walking Ballista.

That's the ticket. Bring back Walking Ballista while Pia's Revolution is in play and bolt them.

Very very good card. Unearthing Jace and flipping him immediately isn't a bad deal.

More cheap reanimation spells are always welcome. You're probably never going to use Fame, but Claim is quite good.

It's great for Sultai DS though, since they won't have access to Kommand.

Immediate modern staple.

Oh wait, it comes from Master of Modern, so duh!

Ah yes, just what modern needed. More good black cards. /s
