Definitely "rare for Limited purposes". It's a house there, and would've been a Peasant staple at uncommon.
Also highly likely to be a $1 bin rare. But good fun card at any rate.
The big problem with it is just being two colors, but four mana for 'completely twist the balance of the table' seems pretty effective.
It isn't Overrun which wins games but even a handful of creature keywords on board and this thing is brutal. Especially in formats that lack instant speed answers to 2+ attackers.
Of course, this now means we won't get Hope // Despair as a future split card.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Yes, I will pay 4 mana for drawing a card for each creature I control, making my opponents discards their hands and granting my creature evasion. This card is sick for commander, especially token decks!
My dislike for split-cards aside, this one feels quite powerful to me. It's agressively costed, the colors are frequently played and the payoff is pure value. Are hours' split cards actually... good? And if so, why the **** are the ones in Amonkhet so mediocre?
I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.
Offcourse they will block in the face of so much cardadvantage. It's win-more and does nothing when you're behind. Sure. My Apatra deck is going to love it. In multiplayer there is no kill like overkill, there is always someone open, and hey, if they block a bunch of deathtouch snakes, more power to them really. In EDH this sometimes creates one of those Oh Crap! moments, and I'm more than fine with that.
Arkham, the 1920's. Investigators battle horrors from beyond time and space, risking life and sanity while conspiracies of cultists and malign servitors seek gateways for their outer gods to return...
Soon, the stars will be right! Great Cthulhu shall rise!
Finally an aftermath card with s second half that isn't grossly overcosted. The effect isn't exactly what I'm looking for in EDH, but this card gives me hope for the rest of the aftermath cards. And I certainly wouldn't complain about this card in limited.
Oh and I didn't even see that it gave trample and menace. It's still not fantastic when you're behind, but I like that it gives 2 evasion abilities, one against people going wide and one for people going big.

The blue/green one just spoiled is awful, so no. I have a feeling this one might be the best one out of the whole lot.

Its a pretty brutal card in limited, and will hardly to never see play in constructed.

Swing in with a lot of creatures and tokens for massive card draw.

Damage, card draw, and discard in a single card? Sounds pretty efficient to me.

Altogether, I like this package.
Except that does not work. You cannot just cast the Aftermath piece outside of the grave yard. You need to cast Driven first.
There is no mechanism to differentiate how the card got in the GY.
That is a good point and I hadn't thought about that.

I don't mind this card one bit. Block this combat or you'll be massively outadvantaged.
