So this and Approach of the Second Sun is an instant win?
No. In order to win, you have to cast Approach of the Second Sun from your hand. Copying it will not work.
I actually think it does work. This is out on the battlefield. You cast approach of the second sun from your hand. The trigger goes on the stack, meaning the copy gets cast and resolves. Then the second one cast, the one you originally cast from your hand, resolves, then you win.
Copying a spell is not the same as casting a spell. When the original resolves, it will see that the spell has been cast only once, so it will not win the game.
I'm always surprised to learn that extremely simple cards like this and By Force have never seen print before. 25 years in you would expect Wizards to have eaten all these things up by now considering they've printed thousands upon thousands of cards. Anyway, seven mana is damn expensive for this effect. It's probably fairly costed; it's what Cast Through Time cost and that effectively copied spells too, but man. Seven mana? That's so harsh.

Blatant Thievery comes to mind. Assuming you're playing with four plus people, Expropriate can be Blatant Thievery AND Time Stretch at the same time. Bribery and Rite of Replication are other options that will still make you the primary target but not loathed for days like looping time magic will.
...that said, I'm absolutely going to be adding this to my Melek deck and abusing the hell out of it with time magic, because I'm a bad person.
Might be a real card for Modern Storm, as Winning after resolving it becomes pretty trivial.
Its like a Pyromancer Ascension that is online right away, so the question of the day is to ramp to 7 mana and win from there (at best in the same turn, which then asks for even more mana, which drasticly changes the UR storm plan, but it should be viable to some degree).

With Jhoira it's fun. Suspend this + any extra turn card at the same time.
Silly combo idea for EDH: Have Swarm Intelligence out, then cast Spelljack targeting whatever spell you can. Make the copy of Spelljack target the original Spelljack, then when the original Spelljack gets exiled, recast it and repeat. If you have something thatcares about instants, or casting lots of spells in general, GG. This'll also work with any counterspell + Guile.
