Why!? Why was felidar guardian banned instead of Sahelli?! She sees so play outside of the combo but Cat tribal could have lived!!!! Bring back the Guardian! Cat Tribal in standard!!
More on topic this card looks fun in limited and I will try to make cat tribal at fnm happen
this is why guardian was banned. yes, it had the saheli combo, but that was the 'flavor of the month.' wizards knew between regal and this new card, cats would've been broken beyond insanity. a ton of cats, and it could be potentially infinite with panharmonicon,
So MTG Headquarters gets hosed on spoilers, but these scags can publicly tell a portion of the player base to "go **** themselves" and they still get spoilers?
Yeah, **** that. I will now spend zero dollars on this set.

First of all, your selective outrage is hilarious. This particular spoiler causes you to get so triggered that Simo Häyha is using you to snipe Russians in the snow? Amazing.
Secondly...context?
Thirdly: GW(x) legendary cat or we riot.
It's hardly selective. I don't care much for MTG Headquarters either. I think he utterly conned people with that Gamefindr Kickstarter crap, and I have pretty much zero respect for the guy due to it. And "triggered" seriously, screw off with that crap. It's standard run of the mill hypocrisy, which I despise.
As for context, I'm at work, so look to YouTube for your answer.
I'd prefer WG legend cat to give resurrection rather than indestrucitble (when a cat you control dies, return it to the battlefield instead)[wording].
9 lives yknow.
Ha! And with the rule that "you may do this up to 9 times"
I like it otherwise though, perfect for cat tribal, and a force in limited to be sure.
Also, it looks like there will be other ways to exert creatures now aside from attacking with the revealing of this card. I wonder if it will only be tapping? Or perhaps sending a creature you control to your hand, or discarding a card?
So are those blue freeze spells going to be changed to "tap target creature and exert it"?
No, exert is not intended to become an evergreen ability. It's mostly an issue of flavor, since a word primarily used to illustrate effort (or an otherwise self-inflicted condition) is ill-suited to describe being frozen solid. It's the same reason why ability words don't get reused outside of their original setting very often.
Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Mufasa: Look, Simba.Everything the light touches is our kingdom. Simba: Wow...
Mufasa: A king's time as ruler rises and falls like the sun. One day, Simba, the sun will set on my time here, and will rise with you as the new king.
Simba: And this'll all be mine?
Mufasa: Everything...
Simba: Everything the light touches...But what about that shadowy place?
Mufasa: That's beyond our borders. You must never go there, Simba.
Simba: But I thought a king can do whatever he wants.
Mufasa: There's more to being a king than getting your way all the time.
Simba: There's more?
Mufasa: Heh heh, Simba.
Reference aside, this should prove pretty good in a Naya Cat Zoo deck. I propose that inverse lords be known as champions; ergo, Pride Sovereign is a Cat champion as opposed to a Cat lord like Regal Caracal.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Same here. I just don't know why it's green. I guess Rhonas had a zoo but that's kinda loose for designing a card flavor-wise, especially when the ability is white.
Just work with me on this, man...
Maybe say something like "male lions on earth have manes, but maybe it's different on Amonkhet"

19 red cats.
9 black cats, 4 of which are undead (one with R in its text box) and 3 of which are demons (all from Tarkir, one of which is also blue)
It's not even a contest, though there are more green and especially white cats.
I just wish this was white for Kemba, Kha Regent.

Cat tribal was always intended to be Green/White. Look at all the green cats in KLD and AKH (even a Snake Cat... sheesh)
