Interesting. Maybe a little slow, but its definitely hand pressure, and if oyu can pump it, it could be very devastating. The final version might be 6 as a sorcery speed, but a 4/4 menace discard 4 cards is also brutal. I could see people trying to use this.
Yummy. The fact that he's a wizard makes my Marchesa the Black Rose deck happy. A little hand hate can go a long way. This will make a gorgeous foil too.
I like it. A lot. I might have to make my standard human deck into Azban.
Turn three this, turn 4 Intrepid Provisioner or Equestrian Skill will be awesome.
It's a cool design, but a 1/2 menace for 3 mana? That's pretty weak no matter what the combat damage trigger is. Still, it can be pumped up for more discard and the eternalised version is great. It's also good if you can make it unblockable or give it some other invasion, because menace often isn't good enough on its own.
I'm just not sure why this is one of the first cards to spoiled. It's cool, but not super exciting and certainly not very powerful.
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
I like it, this is a legitimate control finisher that you can play early as a body/value generator. I could easily see myself running 2 of these in a Standard control deck.
Once the board is on lock you Eternalize this guy and the game is over.
How many cards do I expect my opponent to have in hand the turn after I had 6 mana to mega-embalm, particularly after I've had the non-embalmed creature earlier in the game? I guess the token can get some cards in EDH, but in 60 card constructed the token is basically a straight 4/4 menace.

Stay reasonable, be mindful of your expectations and don't feed the trolls.

Well, it's basically guaranteed to keep your opponents hand empty or his board clear, which for 6 mana, is entirely worth it.

The token is a 4/4 that doesn't use a card from your hand to play, takes two creatures to block and will most likely strip your opponent's entire hand when it hits. In standard it's also important to remember that it dodges all of the important removal in the format not named Grasp of Darkness and can't be countered by anything not named Disallow.
I don't know, man. Having the option to play a 4/4 menace with discard touch from my graveyard seems pretty good.

Yeah, the pumps are pretty useful. Also, when it comes back, it's 4/4.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
This is how I see this card being played most of the time. I play this, they kill it because they have enough dudes to block and a 1/2 isn't getting through or it just eats removal. Later on, I Eternalize it, and it dies again to removal that they've been saving for it.
I don't know, maybe I get a little too excited but I can see a couple key archetypes in standard that would appreciate a two of/SB of this. Id try it out first in G/B as a lockdown, deal with me before I obliterate your hand next turn kinda lock. Plus the protection offered with that color combination is very strong. The other is in a U/B shell as a finisher, especially vs a control mirror. Not the best piece of cardboard but I think it's got its uses
I like the name, I like the art, I like the idea, but it looks weak. If it was BB it could see a little more play, but it would die quickly too. Anyway, I like it, and I'll try to play it even if it's only in EDH.

4 cards is a LOT to discard after being hit, and menace means this guy is gonna eat twice as many chump blockers as normal.
It's not competitively costed at all, but it sure is a bomb in limited.

Except when drafting for limited, which this guy will probably be an all-star in. Who opens boosters just to open boosters these days?
