If there is a WUBRG legendary that interacts with deserts, I would buy each of these "Desert of the [x]" that are foiled and signed by their respective artists.
Desert of the True is stunning. It screams "Something great was here once, but soon there will be nothing." I knew I'd want it for a Mono-White Commander, but I didn't know how much.
Sigh, Amonkhet's civilization, now in dust. We barely knew you.
Literally. This maybe just me, but maybe having multiple blocks would actually give me more to care about the place like with the several apocalypses that Dominaria had went through.
What is all of the red in Desert of the Glorified Desert of the True? Blood would not really make sense considering the low population and methods by which they were destroyed. Looks kind of like it is transparency and the background is showing though, weird.
Well, glad to see we are now in the hunger games. That is a lot of dead civilization to have to rummage through.

1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!
Seeing the Monuments in such a state of ruin gives me feels.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
I like non-basics, especially ones like this with flavor. Granted I don't like the functionality, but I guess it's a nice refresh to the old urza and onslaught cycle lands. Although the duals are nicer.

I don't see any red in the Desert of the Glorified, but if you mean Desert of the Mindful instead, then it's the blood into which the river Luxa was turned by Razaketh.
Oops, I meant Desert of the True.
Ok if it was somehow transmuted into blood then that makes a lot more sense. Thank you.
I met a traveller from an antique land,
Who said—“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. . . . Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;
And on the pedestal, these words appear:
My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;
Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.
