Seriously am I the only one who notice Chandra is in nicol bolas hand.
I'm noticing she is ridiculously huge, or Bolas has shrunk. I'm pretty sure there is some Bolas art and lore that indicates he's way bigger than that hand should allow for compared to a human.
Bolas is not traditionally massive, dwarfing the pyramids like in the art you are talking about. My guess is he planeswalks in, normal dragon size, and his plan succeeds and part of the effect of his plan makes him titanic.
The video isn't the only place where Bolas is shown to be huge. Just look at some of the art on mtgsalvation's wiki page, and how miniscule normal sized (already massive) dragons are compared to him.
just as I expected the red one is damage based which MAY kill a red PW but it may not. that's pretty lame considering that all the other cards in the cycle do that for sure (unless answered obviously).
on a positive note this kills Glorybringer at instant speed for 1 mana.

Bolas has generally always been portrayed as being gigantic (he and Ugin are supposedly the same size) - the Magic 2013 promotional materials and edition of Duels of the Planeswalkers demonstrates this, as does the From the Vault: Dragons printing of Nicol Bolas.

Interesting, with all five of these revealed I wonder how the Gatewatch survives, since it's a given that with all the setup WOTC would want at least some of their avengers to get away to keep the story moving. Does Samut come to the rescue, or perhaps Ajani would make more sense since he's battled with Bolas in the past.
My guess with Jace is that he panic-Planeswalks and ends up somewhere unknown to him. Hence, his card name in the spoilers. I almost expect all of the Gatewatch who aren't dead to end up scattered around the Multiverse looking for each other.
This card seems sweet. The art though....I don't like it at all.
Yeah, they draw Chandra really inconsistently. She looks beautiful on the Kaladesh planeswalker deck's box, but really odd on her M12 card. I don't know what the deal is with that.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not watching.

Lots of planeswalkers look VERY different in each iteration.
Some have stand out easy to follow parts, like Jace hoodie or Lilianas hairs etc. They wont completly change.
Gideon has a different hair style each time and changes frequently, Chandras standout point is the burning hair, which is different depending on how the artist chooses to make fire artwork, and the "armor" is more or less the same too, the googles are something that doesnt stand out too much on most of them.
Would overall be much better to have a "core" artist for each planeswalker to do the artwork to at least make sure they follow the same guidelines in art-style for the same character. But WotC buried that idea early on.

Splitting them up and give them a reason to not "know" anymore that they are in the gatewatch and make them unable to simply meet at a location again.
Solves many problems with the gatewatch, as they arent together, and they have to work with each weakness again instead of just rofl-stomping every opponent, they will have more "realistic" opponents again and "agents" of Bolas can better work with them in somewhat equal powerlevels.

Gatewatch getting their asses kicked for sure satisfies a lot of people (me included).
Pulls the story back into out of the dream-world into realistic territory, which is all around great.
My guess is that Gideon dies, Chandra may die, Liliana survives for sure, Jace survives for sure (we already knew this from spoilers and honestly his "defeat" isn't as bad as the other three, and Nisa there is basically a big coin flip as to whether she dies or lives. I just know that they wouldn't kill Liliana or Jace because they are too popular to want dead. I want Garruk and Ajani to make it.
