How would the PW Uniqueness rule apply to Jace PW copies?
There will have to be some way in the tokens to ignore it. That's likely the "except they're not" part of the ultimate that's visible. My assumption is that it will say "they are not Jace planeswalkers" or something similar, because it would be a flavor fail if you couldn't cast new jaces because his illusions were in play.
That's why these seem fake. There's not enough room on the left side for that to read anything but "Legendary," which of course wouldn't make sense.
The 5BB spell appears to be a Fact or Fiction-esque board wipe, where one pile is put onto the battlefield under your countrol and the other into their owner's graveyard.
How would the PW Uniqueness rule apply to Jace PW copies?
If they don't have the same Jace subtype, you don't have to sac the original Jace to create them. So it really depends on what subtype they get that determines what happens to them.
I actually find this interesting btw, because this is also probably the first instance we'd get of actual planeswalker tokens. In that case, the only permanent types left that don't have tokens (and have no other types) (IIRC) are lands and enchantments.
It is neat and unique. Jace was certainly the PW appropriate to explore this area of design too. It'll be so amazing to get one that makes illusions like this. IS he at 1 loyalty though?

I mean, it looks to me like there's room for "Jace planeswalkers."
Edit - It's also called the planeswalker uniqueness rule in the comp rules, so maybe it just says they aren't unique?

Looks like 3 to me.
This was either taken with a really bad camera by someone who had no idea what they were doing (you missed the jace?!), but for some reason still wanted to leak, or (much more likely IMO) it's an intentional leak by Wizards to get the hype train rolling, and they edited the image so that stuff they didn't want readable to not be readable.
Come on wizards make dinosaur or pirate tribal legit now.
Legendary Creature - Dinosaur Pirate would be too excellent for words, but I'll settle for a metric ton of dinosaurs with a sprinkling of pirates.
The new peek needle is fine, it still won't beat Pithing Needle in most decks in Modern needing that effect though, I imagine.

So much for their "promise" to stop printing the Jacestice league so much.
>They never said they'd stop printing Gatewatch walkers altogether.
>Jace got only 1 card since the GW was a thing.
>Jace is the only GW walker we see or even get any hints about in this leak, and other than him, Ajani is the only one who we may or may not see in Ixalan at all.

Seriously, come on.
I am getting sick and tired of all the hypocritical ignorance and arrogance of this community. It's about damn time we got a new Jace card. AND ALSO I can't believe I have to WAIT to find out what it looks like and does! UGH THIS LEAK MADE THINGS WORSE Wish I hadn't known so early.

Jace is also the most boring and uninspiring walker. Just like Superman is boring and unispiring.
From what I see, and what I can assume... Is Jace is isolated, alone, and probably screwed. Vraska has a vendetta against him. I wanted him killed since Ravnica, maybe he's finally going to get killed now.
Especially after he became the living guildpact and abandoned his duties he deserves to die.
I hoped for one block without Gatewatch (okay, Ajani would be fine).
Also treasure = gold which I like (it's worse though because you need to tap it, also worse synergy with Improvise). Hope this set is multicolor heavy - treasure can help it a lot.
And yay, Dragonskull Summit and Glacial Fort!
Like how do you have a new version of Jace and focus the camera instead on Sorcerus Spyglass.
Someone in Wotc has a sense of humor. Seems like they want to "leak" that Ixalan will be Tribal and has Jace in it. As someone pointed out, no new mechanics are revealed. Seems kind of odd as well.

OK first, I don't care for words like "boring" in communities like this since they're grossly overused and tend to just mean you don't like that particular card, deck or character. Some of his cards are dull indeed, but others (like a certain Wallet Sculptor) aren't, and I find the character himself more interesting than people give him credit for. Not to mention, if this card is legit, at least with his ultimate, this Jace card is breaking new ground where planeswalkers are concerned, and they're finally starting to delve into the more intriguing aspects of his abilities like Illusions.
Second, there's no way that Jace is dying before we get his trip back to Vryn to resolve his character plot with his home plane.
Third, yes he's shirking his duties as The Living Guildpact, but that should be addressed in Return to Return to Ravnica, and not a random backwater plane like Ixalan.
So much for their "promise" to stop printing the Jacestice league so much.
They said we'd be seeing them less, not gone, but by the time they official Ixalan was most likely already done. All of the changes we've heard about won't really take effect until next year.

And nothing that you said is objective or fact. You must play Mono Red.
If real, I do like that we are going back to creature types matter. And that Pirate Captain is on point. Treasure tokens!
Basically Clue 2.0. We might see a related "investigate" mechanic producing treasures....
And yes, seems like it is at least semi-tribal.
You mean "Gold 2.0"?
Etherium Cell was Gold 2.0. This is Gold 2.01. This behaves identically to Etherium Cell, which behaves slightly differently from Gold (requiring tapping, means that under a Root Maze it can't be used the turn it's created).
Anytime someone says this, I find it hard not to assume they don't actually read comics. I'm not even that big of a comics fan, and I can tell you that there are plenty of good Superman stories.
Any character can be either boring or exciting, depending on how they're written. And yes, that includes Jace.
Samut and our God-Pharaoh can, so I wouldn't be surprised, but I don't know....
Woops, I now have X copies of Jace that all go into more copies of Jace into infinity. Game 2?
That's why these seem fake. There's not enough room on the left side for that to read anything but "Legendary," which of course wouldn't make sense.
Imperial Mask.
Except it's not a forced loop (like there being 3 O-rings in play and nothing else) so you don't just draw the game.

As you have to establish the number of times you do it, according to the rules. I think I'll just stifle his activation and watch you sweat.

The missing bit of the text at the end likely applies to that.
Also the treasure tokens are likely tapping because of Improvise.

Wow, overreact much? What about theft, tax evasion, or jaywalking? You think those deserve the death sentence, too?
Or maybe you just dislike Jace because he's overexposed, and you're just looking for any justification for your overblown hatred.
