I think it is an locust elemental or demon. Eldrazies manifest eldrazi spawn. In this part of the trailer there are a lot of locusts. Locust are very egyptian.

I have dyslexia, no I am not going to spell check for you, yes you have to live with the horrors of it.
Nice trailer! Loving the look of the insectile horror.
Also, is the intro Bolas card called Nicol Bolas, the Destroyer?
The deceiver. I made a thread about the card and the abilities and cost have been determined from the image, but the loyalty is hidden so we'll have to wait on that.
That mass destruction sequence with Bolas devastating everything... could this be a similar spell to All is Dust? I raised the same question when they released that art of Bolas with his hands crossed, where the buildings behind him are transforming to dust.
Bringer of Locusts is so badass. "Unleash your endgame" seems to indicate a significant number of high cc bombs in the set. Appears very eldrazi-like conceptually.
I was hoping we would get to see the other three Gods that used to exist on Amonkhet.
Of course, if there are only three more gods in Hour of Devastation, then we won't get a full cycle. I like full cycles, as do a lot of players. Won't bother me too much if they are stylish and impressive.
The other question about these three gods is what colour/colours will they be?
I would put my money on them being grixis colours, easier for Bolas to "use" if they are part of his colour identity, I guess. So would picture them as either mono colour (Blue, Black and Red), or they are two colours (Rakdos, Dimir and Izzet). But will have to wait until spoiler season rolls around for confirmation.

I just hope they have room for the enemy cycle fetch dual lands.
Bolas you fracking bastard, using the three Gods to kill their own homeland. Those Gods, they way they approach their city and mercilessly destroy it, gave me CHILLS.
As the trailer shows Hazoret's demise, looks like there will be Last Reckoning for each of the five living God. May they rest in peace, though I doubt they will.
Did no one else notice the Bolas PW card? 5BUR +3 each opponent loses 3 life unless they sac a creature or discard a card. -2 destroy target creature. Draw a card. -11 ~deals 7 damage to each opponent and you draw 7 cards.
So, let me get this straight, Bolas takes over a plane, enslaves all the gods, gets them and the people to do stuff for him. He protects his people with a super barrier from roving bands of zombies. The people build monuments and go through some intense combat training where the weak are culled and the best are 'collected' for some strange reason...
and then bolas is like "lol suckers, jk, I'm blowing up everything now"
WHY??? Is bolas Dr. Evil or something? There is no point to any of this...

Probably something to do with creating an army that will follow him to the ends of the multiverse. I hope there is one more planeswalker in HOU. This whole event is the perfect way to make people spark, even though the way its unfolding is so haphazard.

Call me crazy, but I almost get BR, BG, and WB vibes from those three Gods. A plague of devouring Locusts feels BG, Scorpion God could be BR, and the Scarab God could be WB because of the scarab's association with the sun. Of course their current appearances could be the result of Bolas warping them with his magic, they once served a more benevolent role.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

He planned to use Amonkhet (and other planes) as a way to get back his god-like power, I presume there's a time restrain on Bola's part and he has no more use of Amonkhet after this.
Why destroy it? Despite Bolas's schematic mind, he is also an egoistic, sadistic dragon, violence is rare AND pleasurable.
Is that an eldrazi?

A giant.
*******.
Locust.
Good god this set is going to suck (for all the poor souls involved)
It does look like that, but I thought they were going to leave the Biblical stuff out of this set.
And sadly the red god get swarmed by them must be her "last reckoning" art
left: scarab god
middle: scorpion god
right: locust god
So a friend of mine was right, and here I thought I could prove her wrong for once
Thanks to DarkNightCavalier from Heroes of the Plane Studios for this sick Signature.
the professor (tolarian community college)made a prediction that bolas would win from the looks of the trailer and from archenemy cards.
its looking pretty dang good of getting it right I mean bolas in the ending of the trailer is turning amonkhet to a train wreck in just one shockwave

And because of WotC's none-too-subtle biases,
I fully expect all three of them to be BG
