Now if the masterpiece series for this set is a modified version of the old borders and new security features... Or just give me some timeshifted old frame too
Well this seems like a perfect place for some amazing reprints. Glad to see they are gonna make a return to my youth. Give me a vesuvan doppelganger reprint and I will be a happy man
Honestly, I wouldn't expect too much reprints. They've got the core sets (back) for that now and Dominaria has essentially become a different world because of the "apocalypse" in Time Spiral.
Really stoked to see how they combine new and old elements of the world.
Elated! Would be the perfect place to bring back cool lore-relevant stuff like Titania, Leitbur, Ith, and so many others. Ah, sweet nostalgia.

The "Crazy One", playing casual magic and occasionally dipping his toes into regular play since 1994.
Currently focusing on Pre-Modern (Mono-Black Discard Control) and Modern (Azorious Control, Temur Rhinos).
Find me at the Wizard's Tower in Ottawa every second Saturday afternoons.
There's something incredibly hype about the set name just straight up being Dominaria. Says it all.
I know right? It also avoids any baggage that might throw off newer players. Adding a "Return to" to the title could make them worry about playing catch-up, but like this it just says "here's where we're going".
Very excited to go back and see how it's recovered after the Time War.

You realize that Doppelganger is on the reserved list right? He is also about $4 to purchase a Revised edition copy.
I called it when they announced the core set and set changes - we only had 1 set's worth between Rivals of Ixalan and Core 2019, we just been to three new planes (Kaladesh, Amonkhet and Ixalan), Ravnica will more or less require 2 sets and there's the whole 25th anniversary, everything was pointing towards Dominaria as the first set of the new structure.
Thank yooou! God next year is going to be a vorthosian feast. Every bit of info around that block will be devoured and dissected. Can't wait to see what familiar faces pop up.
Finally. I have been waiting for one last Dominaria trip so that I can satisfactorily ride off into my own MtG sunset. Please, send me off with a BANG WotC.
A return to Dominaria? The realm of the two brotehrs and invasion and most of the original stories... that should be interesting.
Even though most of those early stories were before my time, from what I have learnt of them it should be intriguing.
I wonder if we will finally see Urza in person. Wait, is Urza even still alive? I honestly have no idea.
Urza is thankfully very, very, dead. Indeed he is so dead that he can't even be resurrected as his soul (as well as those of Gerrard and Yawgmoth) was snuffed out when the Legacy Weapon fired. He is gone, body, soul, and mind. A good thing to, he was a murderous bastard who was little better than the Phyrexians he fought.
MaRo is saying that they finally figured out how to return to Dominaria... what shenanigan is he talking about? Is Bolas responsible?
Nah, it's slivers. Nothing but slivers, everything in the set is slivers, including the lands.
Seriously though, I am giddy with excitement that we are returning to a recovered Dominaria. Hopefully it will be a smaller and not a "the world is in peril" story.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).

If they did, we can rest assured that new messes will take their place.
In any event, it's nice to have the story go back to its roots, so to speak.

Nah, I'm sure it will be fine.
I really liked the look of Time Spiral Dominaria, hopefully they won't show a world that's already "completely recovered".

Give me any unserved list cards and I'll be happy.
Because wotc sucks at spoilers and has for years, then wonders why clicks to their site have declined
Shiv, Serra, I will see your skies again.
Real knights, elves, dragons, wurms, sorcerers, merfolk, goblins, zombies, angels, all in one place. I just can't wait.
