To my knowledge he wasn't built by Mishra. He's phyrexian.

I guess there wasn't space to fit God in the typeline.
Despite Ramos's treatment during the Weatherlight Saga, it's possible that he doesn't fit the definition of a god that has been established in Theros and Amonkhet. Magic has its fair share of characters who have godlike powers and are worshipped as gods, yet are most certainly not gods. The Japanese word for god is "kami," but the eponymous creatures in Kamigawa are categorically spirits despite being based off of the gods of the Shinto religion.

I'm pretty sure I've read Maro actually make a statement that the Kami would of been typelined "God" if they were able to do that back then. Theros was the first time that they attempted to use "God" as a type.
I don't know if he said they'd do that for all the Kamigawa spirits. Here he says the Myojin cycle specifically could have been gods.
I can't find the particular one, but one person asked him if the Kami in Kamigawa would of been typed "God" if the type existed back then, and Maro's response was "Yes, the gods would of had the God creature type" or something to that effect.

The answer is ambiguous enough to mean "we would have tagged those particular ones that we consider gods as God" rather than "all of them God all the time!!!"
I think the answer is just a sequel to "Yes, the Myojin would be God creatures."

Time and mental energy is something I have been short on all week. Bad head issues cause my mental energy to be short half the time, and time wise, I usually only check when I have a few seconds to.
So yes, I could of invested 15 seconds as you said, but then that would of required more spoons than I am able to put out right at this moment.
You guys think Ramos will get banned in edh eventually?
A guy I was playing aipganist claimed he will get banned instantly because of a combo like this
Edit: never mind I see how thats infinite but my previous point stands. Its a four card combo of which two parts are very vulnerable to removal. Not gonna get the hammer .

I know that's the problem
You need a ton of mana to get it started, Ramos is very vurnable to removal, you need a lot of cards on the field, finally you need to cast the creature to get the counters for the infinite.
Maybe I am overthinking it, but I could enjoy building a deck with counter multipliers like [[Doubling Season]], Proliferate abuse, Transguild Courier of course, and lots of cards with hybrid mana costs (since the number of counters added is 1 for **each of the spell's colors**).

That's a neat (if convoluted) way of getting around the once per turn restriction.
Love this card.
I suppose you could go really old-school and do Enduring Renewal + Ashnod's Altar + Kobolds of Kher Keep
So uhh Ramos and Experiment Kraj are gonna be broskies right?

Ah, you're correct, he only worked for Mishra during the Brothers' War. Originated from Phyrexia.

Which could happen in this case since all 5-color decks might be why they said not-color focused.
You should have invested 15 seconds.

With Fist of Suns out, Ramos' second ability allows you to cast any two spells you want.
