I know its proba ly against the grain but id actually like to see a 4 color Eldrazi legend.
I would like to see one too, or a Devoid 5 color Legendary Eldrazi. Creative would really need to justify it though, seeing as they made it fairly clear that the three titans were the only Eldrazi of legendary status. I could see it if they made its name along the lines of 'It that Betrays,' and spin it as a local legend, like an especially tough or intimidating Eldrazi from Zendikar.
I'm sure it's not a legal thing; probably company policy for transparency and so people have stuff for their portfolios. It's nice to see just how many people are involved in making a real Magic set, even a supplemental with only fewer than 60 new cards: I think we all have the impression that it's "just" Design and Development when really it's more than that.
I am still a little disappointed that the people at WotC didn't realize we wanted a Jund colored spider legend, not a Golgari one. Ishkana is nice, but it wasn't what we wanted. Still, we should have been clearer when we communicated the desire to WotC.
I actually want a Naya spider, but I figure we will get more B spiders in the future than W ones.
But PDS was a five colored deck, and the Shandalar Slivers did set the precedence that Slivers can be favored/skewered in two to three colors with very little presence in the rest of the color pie.
Ugh, Shandalar Silvers are something I don't want to see again. Even they got a WUBRG legend though. They won't make a two or three color sliver legend.
Why would you want a Naya spider legend? There are two partially white spider related cards, and both suck. At least red has Giant Trap Door Spider and Dragonlair Spider.
Also, the only problem the Shandalar Slivers had was their appearance, they didn't look like slivers. The change to their mechanics were just fine.
If we get a sliver deck (which is very likely), we will likely get a Sliver Queen expy with a tweaked ability and casting cost. Something that would make old-slivers work with neo-slivers, such as "the Static Abilities of slivers you control only affect slivers you control. The static abilities of slivers you don't control, do not affect slivers you control." in addition to the sliver production of the Sliver Queen, with maybe a small increase in casting cost (say 1WUBRG), just to make it different enough that people won't claim it is a violation of the reserved list.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).
Everyone asking for slivers, please stop. This should be an opportunity to give tribal support and/or commanders in the correct color cominations for the first time. Slivers have several WUBRG legends already plus tons of tribal support. I would be hugely dissapointed if they wasted a spot in this set on more sliver tribal.
I agree, I'd rather they save designs for whenever they decide the bring them back in a Standard set. They could throw a few slivers that use an old keyword that has little or no chance of coming back if they wanted to throw a few in a deck or put in a Hivestone, but that would be the most I'd like to see. An "all slivers you control have changeling," sliver would be funny 'cause it could go in any of the decks (or ones that have U, I suppose).
Why would you want a Naya spider legend? There are two partially white spider related cards, and both suck. At least red has Giant Trap Door Spider and Dragonlair Spider.
Mostly because I've wanted a spider legend before they made any black spiders. I would like to have access to W, that and I do have a soft spot for Ancient Spider.
[quote]Also, the only problem the Shandalar Slivers had was their appearance, they didn't look like slivers. The change to their mechanics were just fine.
Pretty much being a three color tribe was not that cool (although I get why it was done for limited).
If we get a sliver deck (which is very likely), we will likely get a Sliver Queen expy with a tweaked ability and casting cost.
But each deck comes with 2 back-up commanders (and reprints), and I don't see them making a non-WUBRG sliver lord/legend.
I get a feeling that we'll see racial tribal in the decks, but class tribal spread across decks. This would allow for greater variety of builds using just the supplemental product.
This would give each color representation at least twice, and no more than thrice.
I could also see something unusual like a 5 color Allies tribal and a Colorless Eldrazi or Artifact tribal, leaving room for a 3-color and a 2-color to round out the evenness.

Ehr, the M14 Slivers existed in all five colors, most where in red, white, and green, but they were present in blue (Galerider Sliver) and black (Syphon Sliver) as well. In M15 we got one of each color as well as the five color legend.
I also think you may have misread what I said in the other thing you quoted from me (about the Sliver Queen expy), what I said was that at least one of the new legends in a Sliver commander deck would be a new five color legend that would be an expy of Sliver Queen. A new card that fills similar space (produces a lot of sliver tokens), but with some additional ability that will likely make your slivers abilities only affect your slivers and make them unaffected by the abilities of other players slivers, and with a tweaked casting cost.
Personally, I'd love to see Hybrid mana slivers, as well as slivers with other abilities like "all your slivers have Exalted" or some such.
I agree, I'd rather they save designs for whenever they decide the bring them back in a Standard set. They could throw a few slivers that use an old keyword that has little or no chance of coming back

Eh, they'd just do "Slivers you control have banding". Bands with Other is an 11 on the Storm Scale, together with "Substance". They have literally zero percent chance of returning unless the entire R&D team simultaneously get hit by a falling asteroid that takes out half of Seattle. "Banding" could potentially return in an Auxiliary set, with a slightly smaller chance in a standard legal set. Banding's biggest problem is that it is wordy.

I personally hope they don't do an elf deck. I understand it's popular, but it has more than enough support already, it doesn't need more. It's the same for zombies. I think it would be better to give some less supported tribes (still popular or wanted) more tools to work with. Please wizards, give me more spiders! Ishkanah needs new toys!
(U/B) is :symbu: or :symub: and the same is true for the other 9 hybrid symbols with their two colors in for the last 2 leters of the code. ((2/B) and co are :sym2b:)
Alternatively {UB} or {2B} in [mana] tags are (U/B) or (2/B) T is :symtap: and T will give T in [mana] tags
Why announce it now. What do they gain from announcing this and offering 2 details.
Times like this make me want to have 3 or 5 degrees in various marketing and public relations so I can get hired there and fix their incredulously silly way of telling people about things.

Wanted -Zombie Foils and older expensive Zombie stuff. High Priority- Beta Z Master/ Int. Collector's Edition.
I think it would be cool if they created a legendary shapeshifter that allowed you to choose a create type as it comes into play. Then, it would give creatures of the chosen type some sort of ability, buff, or cost reduction. It would allow you to make a tribal deck of your choice.
It would also be cool to get a mono colored Eldrazi commander that allowed you to include all the devoid cards in your deck with some wording like "You may spend colorles mana as though it were mana of any color to cast spells with Devoid"
I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.
I agree, I"d rather they save designs for whenever they decide the bring them back in a Standard set. Now this guy has the right idea about bringing back a couple old school keywords that Slivers would have originally gotten way back in Tempest had WOTC not abandoned when they first were designing what Slivers were. Banding, and probably rampage too, was going to be used had the decision to drop them had not just occurred at that specific time.
Why announce it now. What do they gain from announcing this and offering 2 details.

They needed to tell us that it was moved up to August from November, telling us at "Announcement Day", it wouldn't have time to build enough hype and speculation.

Abzan Elves
Jund Goblins
Esper Zombies (wishlisting here)
Jeskai Humans

WBU zombies
WGB fungus (sapprolings/thallids)
5-color Slivers
An artifact deck... scarecrow (technically 5-c) or golems (also 5-color technically)
But with zombies in standard and the newest set they may actually avoid them... slivers had better be one tribe though!

It most certainly says no such thing.

You're right, my mistake, four tribal decks but could mix in a lot of them.
Am I the only one who wants a spirit tribal?
Swarmyard is a must! Maybe a deck full or rats, insects, squirrel just to make this work. Its legend would be a Mutant Squirrel!
Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest WUR Voltron Control
Temmet, Vizier of Naktamun WU Unblockable Mirror Trickery
Ra's al Ghul (Sidar Kondo) and Face-Down Ninjas
Brudiclad, Token Engineer
Vaevictis (VV2) the Dire Lantern
Rona, Disciple of Gix
Tiana the Auror
Hallar
Ulrich the Politician
Zur the Rebel
Scorpion, Locust, Scarab, Egyptian Gods
O-Kagachi, Mathas, Mairsil
"Non-Tribal" Tribal Generals, Eggs
this would be nuts!
