And as for zombies blame the amonkhet set for they got a ton of zombie love already.
You see this as a reason to leave them out, but I see it as why they may be present-
Lots of people will already have Zombie decks built for Standard,
and that will make a very easy jump for first-time EDH'ers...
you know, the type this product is mostly aimed at?
Actually I just realized the white zombies so I think zombies will take the cake of the slot of the most obvious
I don't think we are getting goblins and elfs because they are too obvious
Zombie may get a esper commander. If that's the case it better have something like gisa and geralf
one deck with Be elf, goblin, or zombie. I'm going with zombie because it's the one beginners can use the easiest.
One deck will probably be 5 color which will probably. Be sliver, elemental, or dragon, going to wager sliver for this one easy quick win deck
One deck will be colorless that's Eldrazi or Myr, Eldrazi due to being more popular and reason for a colorless being one is it's not color focused deck and for beginners no fear of wrong colors and for players who want to play Ramp and a excuse to reprint Ramp staples in edh.
And one will be one that never happened yet this catergory is werewolf, snake, beast, or something else not done yet. Could be anything in this one.
This has got me hyped. There are four tribes I'd like see get some support. Now, I'm not banking on this but I would love to see these:
Ninja: Who wouldn't love some ninja?! Seriously, I can just see it. A ninja commander deck that is based around using the Ninjutsu mechanic to constantly sub ninja in and out. It'd be like a strike force where you have to pick the best ninja for the job at a particular moment and trade him/her out when they're not needed. A deck based around deception and head games a you dismantle your opponent before moving in for the kill.
As for the commander: how about the spirit of a long dead ninja grandmaster who has refused to pass on and continues to train and lead new generations of ninja?
Werewolf: Here me out. Instead of werewolf commander who flips, how about a Wolfir? Has the body and power of a werewolf but the mind and heart of a person. That way, you don't have to design a flip card and multiple mechanics and the commander can serve a consistent center piece for the deck as you deal with all the werewolf flipping. The Wolfir could confer a benefit for the werewolves no matter what form their in.
Like I said, I don't expect to see anything like these, but it would be nice to get EDH for them.
Oh look, allied colors get skipped AGAIN. The only way this is forgivable is if they give us RG werewolves. Otherwise...well, ******* bull*****.
While I agree there isn't really a super great commander for a specific kinda' werewolf tribal, I still think that them doing allied colours would be kinda' boring.. There's more allied commanders than ANY other colour combination (ignoring mono, since mono legends aren't as frequently used or good as commanders)
With how much people wanted a werewolf commander, and how popular DFC are, I could see one of the decks being werewolf... I still think a werefolf tribal EDH is possible if they don't, but, at the same time that's not a deck that interests me so I'm a totally outside perspective, so I'm probably wrong

Would easily buy 5, but if WotC doesnt want that money ...
Whoah there pickle, I think you might be looking that gift horse so hard in the mouth that your whole head's in there! Is that your thing? Should I give you some alone time?
Bravo, I guess, for being the most cookie-cutter textbook example of that whole "they'd complain if they were given banknotes on the way they were folded" sort of meme thing that gets brought up occasionally.
On topic;
WOO TRIBAL yeah gonna get me some merfolk what do we reckon?
My predictions are:
Elves, merfolk, Goblins and angels?
Demons/zombies/vampires are close, right? It could be any of the three if a predominantly black themed tribe gets the nod.
[edit] crap, totally forgot about slivers! I was thinking way too simple! Man, also I guess it's possible that they could do phyrexians, kavu, plants, elementals (wow that one would be immense), and a whole bunch of others.
Ninjas would be great, but I'd also be happy to see Rogues. Swinging with small and evasive beaters, then casting undercosted prowl cards in the second main phase is a pretty unique style of play.
If they make Zombies and once again leave out Vengeful Dead I'll be pretty vengeful myself.
For non-petty requests: Death Baron, wtf is it that expensive?
I am pretty sure each deck will support multiple tribes. Each commander deck always shows off multiple themes in order to let the player get a taste of different things and determine what they like best, and mold the deck to their liking. Expect each of these decks to cover a multitude of tribes, such as RW goblin human warrior soldier, or BG elf zombie druid shaman wizard.
On that note, they are emphatically NOT doing slivers. Slivers have limited mechanical space and only one theme. I would put down money on that.
Would be interested in seeing a 5 colour "Legends" tribal deck. They could fill in any "missing legend" holes they want with pretty much any rules text relevant to their race or class on them and still support the theme in the deck through Legend-relevant cards like Sisay, Champions Helm, Day of Destiny, the CoK lands, Hero's Podium / Blade, Honor-Worn Shaku, Reki, Loyal Retainers, Thalia's Lancers, Time of Need and whatever else they feel like printing.

You realize slivers mechanic is getting more abilities the more that get out there.
As a matter of fact in the speculation zone I put a pull for tribes that could get in one of these decksvote slivers is winning, and more surprising Eldrazi is second place.
and yea that's one of my theory's on these more than 1 tribal per deck.
I kinda think they might do something with subtypes rather than supertypes. So instead of merfolk, we'll get wizards or rogues etc. That way it would be easier to incorporate multiple colors into a deck since tribes are historically so tied to a single color. Maybe we'll see the planeswalker as commander mechanic again.

Its less, and its simply worse for the consumer to get "less" than what they got before.
There is nothing good about getting less, unless you simply dont care, just accept that others probably WILL care.

To be fair there is only less choices and/or less if you bought all of the decks at one time, which not everyone does. After that there isn't less here, again besides choices, if you bought one or two.
We can guess that three of the four will probably be geared toward the classic trio of aggro, control, and combo, with midrange as a likely fourth. So, what kinds of tribes fit each of those categories?
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Lots of casual folk play with Slivers either in Commander or in the comfort of their own home. Wizards is a corporation after all with a bottom line after all.
