At this point, it doesn't much matter to me what the final tribe is. I'm already getting this release one of the very limited number of tribes that interest me, and no matter what the last tribe is, the ******** in me is still going to laugh at everyone who stated with such certainty what it'll be, but still ended up being dead wrong.
The Gatewatch is still alive (by just barely they made it but bolas let them live)
And for bigger spoilers Liliana was hypnotize or tricked into joining him and turns out Ral Zarek was one of bolas minions and we diden't even know it. (Unless this was already revealed) but really I think she will come to her senses later on.
So next week or later the story's of commander 2017 and a sneak preview of ixalan story (the five prodcasts.)
I agree, btw. I'm still laughing at all the certainty with 5c Devoid Eldrazi, 5c Slivers etc. At that rate this product might as well have been a Homelands re-release without any of the rares.

I know the very begining I was positive we were not getting into those but then I was comvinced for the unexspected that was dumb of me. I was right from the begining
Either cats or whatever the last tribe is are unexspected tribe. Which I think it's clerics and I think they summon other creatures to help them.
Other three tribes are racial tribes. It's possible but not granted that fourth tribe is not a racial tribe but a "work" tribe. In last period Wizards be careful with types of creature. I'm not truly persuaded that the fourth tribe is a "guild" (Clerics, Wizards, Rogues, ...) but it's possible.
Analyzing the image we can see a cohort of men around a woman. It's possible she isn't an Avatar, personally I don't see Edgar Markov as an Avatar, but she is the very important for other people. She had a light armor with mantle and without hood. Men have some protections and hood. There's a light from the ceiling enlighten her face. Mens can be part of a ritual but can also only bow themself to their leader.
Whole image is a set of conflicting signals. Wizzy have some great people working aroud marketing because this last image is causing a lot of pages of writings in whole world until last tribe will be revealed.
If the last tribe is a "guild" my vote go for Rogue, cause the first impression.
If the last tribe is a racial tribe like others I don't vote Humans, but I've no alternatives ideas

Is it terribly inaccurate to consider Edgar Markov, the progenitor of the curse of Innistradi vampirism, an avatar? I tried to consult the MTGS Wiki for clues on what makes an Avatar an Avatar, but it's very vague on that front.

But at the moment we have:
-Cats
-Dragons
-Vampires
C and D are next to each other in the alfabet.
So the fourth tribe HAS to start with W or U. In other words: Wizards confirmed.
The face of the cleric lady has a tattoo of what looks like either Athreos's scythe, a moon, or something else. Could just be a cool design with no implications

As someone said before, could be Dimir Shapeshifters. They convinced me and now that is what I'm hoping for!

This brings up a question I keep forgetting to ask. Does anyone here happen to recognize the tattoo on the woman's face? I feel it's slightly familiar, but I can't pinpoint it.
Shapeshifter is one of my hopes after Angels downfall. Can really be a valid option for the men in circle, they are really similar.
Taking a look to Lavaz here i've found:
Quote from Lavaz on Gamepedia »
Lazav continues to use most of Szadek's methods, giving both their own agents and mercenaries (one of whom is Krenko[1]) as little information as is required to further their goals.
Details about them are unknown, including Lazav's real gender. They claim that they take orders from some greater power.
Words "agents" and "gender" really tickle my fantasies. Men in circle have hoods like Lavaz, they can be Agents of Lavaz. The light on her face can be represent the revelation of another form of Lavaz or about the real form of Lavaz. She can be Lavaz or a kin, really near. Also the high difficult to guess the race can partially confirm the Shapeshifter option.
Changing my bid. Bid on Shapeshifter
Seems a valid option and I can appreciate it.
The marking seems to me to be runic. Not necessarily of anything I've seen before, but it does seem like something that might have been etched into solid rock or a wall or something.

If this legendary is involved of Lazav this bet is golden.
Likely next week we find out I believe early spoilers is happening because they said they are doing story's on the new legends of C17 (and a sneak preview of ixalan's story) after chapter 8 of Hour of devastation which was today (not till next week.)
I retract my previous doubts about this being a "Dimir" Dimir card due to the lack of guild symbol after going back and looking at Lazav, who is a guild leader that doesn't have the guild symbol on him at all. This may very well be the shapeshifter legend we have never had before. It satisfies the whole everything else being a creature issue that cleric/rogue/wizard presents, it's in the right color, it's thematic, and definitely an unexpected tribe.
else im gonna pass
Δε φοβάμαι τίποτα...
Είμαι Άνεργος.
Grimstringer on Cockatrice, add me if you wanna
They just wrapped up hour of devastation story
Long story short
Bolas won by a land slide

All being white doesn't mean they lied on not color focused
And clerics could do whatever possible to get other things to help.
Sorry I think they are just putting in six if cleric is in and if they do that one.
Open your eyes, sheeple. Gosh.
Still wanting Dragons though, so I have that and I am happy with that!

Water mark, yes. In his picture, no, unless I'm blind.
Edit: There is precedent for making guild card legends outside of the block/core sets. They made the BG bug dude during the enemy cycle commanders.
Doesn't the bottom part of his sword looks alarmly like this girls tattoo on her face?
They also printed Karlov of the Ghost Council in the same Commander set as Mazirek the bug dude.
