The weird thing is the number of decks. WotC has up until now been diligent on making sure all 5 colors were represented equally in Commander products, but I don't see any elegant way of doing that with only four decks. That's leading me to believe that we'll get some form of colorless or 5C decks.
I think it would be cool if they created a legendary shapeshifter that allowed you to choose a create type as it comes into play. Then, it would give creatures of the chosen type some sort of ability, buff, or cost reduction. It would allow you to make a tribal deck of your choice.
They just need to update Brass Herald. I play him in most of my Tribal EDH.

It's actually not that difficult to hit color balance with four decks - just approach it like a math problem. You need the total number of colors among your decks to be divisible by 5, so that means you can do it with 1 two color and 3 mono color, 2 two color and 2 three color, and 3 four color and 1 three color as combinations (and the trivial case of 4 five color decks, of course). That's not an exhaustive list, but illustrates that there's a number of ways to pull it off. Then you just have to pick your decks to fill in the colors properly, so for example, if you start with WBG Elves, and add BRG Dragons, then you just need WU Merfolk and UR... Goblins(?) to fill out the missing colors. Now, it's entirely possible Wizards did not chose to do that, but given they're a bunch of math nerds, they're pretty likely to have at least acknowledged the possibility.

Legendary Creature - Golem/whatever
~ is all colors.
Name a creature type as ~ ETB. ~ gains that creature type.
Actually Transguild doesn't have rules text anymore. It would be interesting to see how they would do a color indicator for such a card. The only other option would be to make some "un-devoid" mechanic, which would be even more terrible than devoid.

If they wanted to make a keyword for "this is all colors" I could see them using Prismatic as that word. It tends to be the all colors word of Magic.
1# no elfs, goblin, zombie, too obvious and done to death and also we have perfect commanders for each already
2# the real tribals are base of popular tribals not done yet or new perfect tribal leaders those would be like werewolfs, esper merfolk ,sultai snakes, Basicly highly requested legendary types that supports perfectly.
3# these can be potential be multi-tribal support like Kaalia of the Vast also can have a perfect tribal leader for each type of this.
4# we might get a 5-color lord that has a Adaptive Automaton like abilities maybe also have cost reduction ability for the creature type or be able to cast from the graveyard or ability for power/hexproof esc ability. Maybe for giggles have devoid as well so Eldrazi tribal can happen
Most popular tribes? Meh. I would've love if they picked this as an excuse to pick weird undersupported tribes like Kor or Druid or Golems or Knights. Stuff that has some minor support, but could use new cards to fill in their gaps in support.
EDIT: This could theoretically be an angel or dragon deck with Kaalia as the reprinted general. Kaalia desperately could use that reprint.
A few things to consider with this. The partner mechanic could still pop up which could be interesting.
Two reasons I don't think we will see partner again this time around:
1) They haven't yet gone back and used a Commander exclusive commander mechanic. No returns of experience counter guys, no planeswalkers as commanders so I think no repeat partner.
2) We already have 15(?) partner commanders and they must have had to extensively playtest them to make sure there were no broken combos. If they give us more, they not only have to test them with each other, but also with the already existing ones, which would seem like a lot of time, especially considering we are getting this set only 9 months after the partner commanders showed up.
I could be completely off base, but I think they will give us new mechanics for a while yet before they start repeating.

As I think more about things this is what I think will happen. Stuff like zombies and such have enough support and legendary creatures to make a deck, a lot of semi-popular tribes don't. If this was the theme a few years ago I'd bet on us getting Spiders, Clerics and Werewolves.

I think even though it's the obvious route that's been "done to death," we will be seeing Goblins and Elves. I *hope* they make a Merfolk deck as part of it rather than Zombies (since I feel like zombies have just been pushed so hard in the main sets, whereas we haven't seen merfolk nearly as much lately). And Slivers are unique enough to be pretty likely, in my opinion.
Although I would absolutely replace merfolks with faeries if that was an option.

At the end of the day, WOTC and your LGS wants to sell out of these decks, and the ideas I'm seeing tossed around here makes me wonder if these ideas will even sell for that well. There still are two tribes that get traded for immediately after tournaments conclude at set pre-release dates by casual folks, and that's Dragons and Slivers. Now, Slivers have been done a lot, and we already have a perfect commander for that Deck, but I think Wizards still see opportunity there in expanding flavor and what not. Merfolk and Elves are the other two I see that should be considered.
While I don't disagree, these things end up in big box stores like Target and Walmart so I don't think things like a deck headed up by Demons play well there. I also thing things that are too MTG centric like Slivers also isn't known enough to sell there.
I would think Dragons, Angels, Fairies, Elves, Warriors, etc. are better bets.
Products like Conspiracy are better places to give us new tribal cards and Eternal Masters is the place to reprint them.

What about the Ob Nix commander deck from when the planeswalker commanders were the thing? Pretty close to demonic if you ask me

And elves is not even relevativly close either they have Ben done to death in tribal catergory.
Besides that another thing from my theory if we already have a perfect tribal commander of a type we are not getting one in these sets and also the most done tribals will not make the cut in this. Just popular tribals not done yet.
Ps Kaalia of the Vast doesn't count as a perfect demon/angel/dragon tribal commander.

As opposed to Pokemon centric starter decks or the Yugioh centric preconstructed decks? For a new player they might be interested in slivers because they look like something out of H.R. Gygar. Not saying Slivers is 100% possible, but the Premium Sliver deck is also in that same boat and it did just fine when marketing to the general public.

I'm fairly certain there will be no color balance in this product
(well, probably among the new cards, but not overall).
Given their history with such products, I fully expect U to get shafted.
If I had to guess, Blue will likely only be present in Slivers and Zombies.

I was just gonna mention this! If he says it's unexpected, but it's expected to sell well, I expect either colorless Eldrazi (unexpected because colorless, and explains the lack of color-coding decks) or Werewolves (MaRo has said many times why DFCs and supplemental sets don't mix), which would explain the savings of not having a fifth deck. Perhaps making tokens for each creature in an unsleeved deck, akin to embalm each getting tokens, but pre-existing art.
I really hope for some Snake or rat tribal, since we didn't get true snakes in Amonket..only Naga/
I'm pretty confident it won't happen, but making a few Snake/Naga cards could solve a lot of the Naga pushback. Or make the deck either simic with Artificial Evolution, Faces of the Past, Call to the Kindred, Standardize, Unnatural Selection and Xenograft. If the went Sultai, also include Conspiracy. Have Commander include "All snakes count as Naga, all Naga count as snake." Would also work, and be more efficient, but doesn't work as well with Peer Pressure.

I expect 2, 3, 5, 5 or 3, 3, 4, 5.
Maybe 5 color elemental, 5 color dragon, Jeskai Soldiers and Golgari Elves, insect, or zombie.
Knights would be a cool choice too, maybe in Abzan.
Ohh, Mutant tribal! Simic Mutant vs Mardu Warrior.
