is there any females in theoros never printed per chance?
Callaphe, the Mariner.
Devout follower of Thassa. Presumed to have died as her ship was found beneath the waves. Kind of the Odysseus analog in Theros. Tales speak of how she supposedly sailed into Nyx.

I was thinking Theros too with that nyx looking stuff, but I don't see a lot of green indicators for that character. Purple energy/Shadows indicate black (look at anything related to Liliana or necromancy magic) and the whole card has blue hues as well. Wizards loves color hints in art, so she is probably UB, maybe Esper. Given the cat dude was made wholecloth, she is probably a new character too.
Can we talk about the ability Eminence for a moment?
The ability reads "If ____ is in the command zone or on the battlefield, then _____" HOWEVER, won't this ability pretty much always be turned on? Since we've removed tucking from Commander, that only leaves your hand as the only place the commander ends up that can't bounce it back to the command zone. This makes me think that they are going to introduce some strange new mechanic in the game that can "turn off" commanders, otherwise they could just sit in your command zone offering up a free ability (I'm aware other commanders printed by WoTC already do this).
Obviously cards like Ovinize can turn off your commander, but I'm talking about something that can affect it in the command zone.

It just worries me.
I would like to hope Wizards learned their lesson from Darevi and Oloro when it comes to command zone effects, and the 2 eminence abilities we have so far show that I think. Giving -a- cat an overrun effect is pretty balanced for an aggro deck, since it gets less useful late game in theory, and making dragons cost one less is useful all game, but won't necessarily turn the tide on its own imo
So the tribes are presumably Cat, Dragon, Vampire and some variant of either Human or something in the Dimir or Esper color scheme.
I love the art on the last card - I wish she was Callaphe but doubt it. Callaphe sounded to me like either a Mono-Blue or Simic character (similar to Thrasios) and this one looks UB or UWB. Some sort of Human tribal is ideal then.
Disappointed in lack of Angels as one of the decks. Should have been a 5th deck that was Angels with Serra Planeswalker, Feather than 4th Angel sister.
Aside from O-Kagachi I have no interest in Dragons. Very disappointed to see Vampires again, but at least Edgar Markov (no doubt it's him in the third art) should be getting a card for his fans, as well as perhaps Runo Stormkirk, Anje Falkenrath and any other missing Innistrad Vampire Legends. I have no interest in this or in seeing even more Vampire support so soon, but I do admit those character cards were long overdue.
I knew Krakens with Arixmethes and Callaphe was a long shot but aside from O-Kagachi I think this year is going to be more about some other fan preferences, like people getting Taigam, their vampires, etc. I can't complain. Last year I got Thrasios, Kydele, Kyanois and Tiro which were great. The only down side is having to wait another year to have a shot at more of these Legends. As SOI/EMN demonstrated, Return sets are simply not a reliable way of expecting anything interesting since all they did was re-hash the characters that already had damn cards.
The last picture depicts a woman standing in a circle casting a ritual. On full speculation, considering Onslaught and Legion blocks, what about W/B Clerics as the tribal deck? Clerics have been around as a tribe for a long time whit some specific support, but not enough in my opinion to warrant a full EDH deck. printing Clerics another lord or two would do the tribe a lot of good (plus I want an Orzhov Pontiff reprint to pick one up for Modern).
Otherwise yeah, the other tribes are easy to tell: Cats, dragons, Vampires.
I got a question: What are the purple guys doing in the background? Are they bowing? Casting a spell? Did the lady drop something and they are each trying to grab it? Maybe they are digging?
I don't know if anyone here has mentioned this but I feel these Commander decks are going to have two Tribal themes to them each. The first, is the main theme, which would be the Race creature type. We've seen Dragons, and Cat so far, and from the latest art update I can see us most likely also getting Vampire and possibly Human. The second theme would do with 'profession' creature types, such as Warrior, or Cleric, etc. Since I believe it to be a secondary theme, I doubt there will be too many cards in it, possibly with a deck having something like Veteran's Armaments or similar card as well as a few other things that would effect the profession type.
That way the people who want their Dragon, Cat, Vampire, or Human decks are happy, as well as the people who want their Cleric, Soldier, etc decks. Two birds, one stone.
Or they could just do Tribal again next year with profession types this time around lol

I would say that Wizards is a suitable iconic tribe for a company that is called Wizards of the Coast.
I'm hoping the last one is Human Wizards. But the question is - what female wizard iconic enough to be an Avatar could serve as this deck's leader? Could be a new character. And what plane could she be from?
The twinkles in her art don't look like Nyx, I think it's swirling ashes from a ritual she's casting encircling her body.
BR Vampires and U Wizards would balance the colors, but Azami, Lady of Scrolls has already got monoblue Wizard tribal covered. She's set the bar awfully high.

Agree regarding Azami. Even with new Wizards I would never replace her as the Commander. Maybe run the others in the 99 of casual Wizard decks (I have two Azami decks, one of which is cutthroat).
The last image looks to me like a Disciple of Phenax or something. She definitely looks Grecian. But I am not seeing a mere disciple as the face card. UB makes a lot of sense for her although I hope whatever she is, it's Mono-U.
The unknown lady deck could be demons or cleric/demons hybrid. That art definitely looks like a cult of worshippers and a female priest.
Again, if it was demons, we'd probably be seeing an actual demon here for the Eminence general. Before you say "How do you know she has eminence?", given that Ur-Dragon and the Cat lord has it, what is being depicted in these scenes, and the definition of the word, that woman is more than likely the one with Eminence in her deck.
I'll just put this out there. The Vampire and Cleric/Wizard Lady may not be the face cards. Neither appears to me to be an Avatar. The alternative is that only Cats and Dragons are getting an avatar.

I don't think it was ever a guarantee that each face legend would be an Avatar.
Also, it'd be strange to show two face cards and two non-face cards in this banner, if you ask me.
It's not going to be Wizard. It'll be Human with a mix of classes like Wizard?
I don't think the decks will be entirely tribal. For example, Taigam, a Human Wizard, will probably be in the Dragon deck instead of the Female Human Avatar deck, despite her leading Humans. Wasitoria will be in the Dragon deck despite being a Cat Dragon because the Cat deck is only GW. The only curveball they could throw is if the female is a Spirit that the men summoned into physical form but I do believe she's a Human Avatar.
One strike against the Vampire deck being Mardu is that there are currently only six white Vampires in total, all WB. Even if some set were to, I dunno, introduce monowhite Vampires, it would be too late for them to make this product.
Granted you do have Sorin and some on-theme cards like Campaign of Vengeance to help, but even that constitutes a small part of the 99. If the Vampire deck is Mardu, white will without a doubt be the lowest-density color in the list. But at least you could look forward to running those theoretical monowhite Vampires alongside their BR kin.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

Ixilan has BW vampires and I think some mono-white, if the spoilers are to be believed.

The leaks have shown that mono-white Vampires are coming in Ixalan, so there's that. One of those Vampires also happens to be a Cleric, if that matters.
