Personally I wouldn't count cards like Filigree Angel or Sigarda, Heron's grace as those aren't exactly something I'd look for when building an Angel tribal deck.
And then when you combine the two pairs together, you get a veritable matrix of Bant themes: lifegain, tokens, +1/+1 counters, card draw, artifacts, and enchantments, all synergized through your Angels. Now I wanna go build a Jenara, Asura of War deck...
For me, a good tribal deck cares about not just the tribe but also things the tribe cares about.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
What would be really neat is if we got a Partner card for each of the four sisters, allowing us to create any white trio by partnering the appropiate two sisters.

That would be an awesome idea. I just sadly doubt wizards will do that. They seem to be hating on angels lately to be honest.
I fear that a boros Angel Deck would be to one dimensional. We already have great attackers in those colors. I don't think they can do a better Aurelia or Gisela. And they will never print a flashy Angel in that color combination that care for something different than attacking. At least they had many oppotunities in the past and never deliver some noncombat stuff in boros.
I was more saying that a Mardu deck may help out Boros decks in general. It is also the best chance for an Angel deck at this point.
However Archangel Avacyn is more what I'm looking for as an Angel commander in Boros, I just hate the Transform Mechanic.
I could see them also doing an Angel with a Wheel of Fortune style effect, something akin to Dragon Mage maybe (triggering when you play an Angel from your hand or something). You could also do something more like an opponents only Sulfuric Vortex on a body. There are plenty of non attacking things those color can do. I already have run a pillow fort Basandra, Battle Seraph deck that punished people for attacking (Very similar to the on in this Deck http://articles.edhrec.com/underdogs-corner-basandra-battle-seraph/) and a Anya, Merciless Angel that uses things like manabarbs to bleed everyone. So they certainly can do things that don't focus entirely around attacking. Now how you apply those themes too tribal I'm not sure, but the room is there.
Well the more I look at wizards the more it really feels like that tribe really doesn't have a lot of ways to close a game on it's own. Dragons are a pretty good tribe since just about all of them are bombs in their own right.

That is because they are mostly Draw Go with a sprinkling of tribal. Counterspells, mill, solitary beaters, card draw, combos, etc.

I'd be fine with that or Esper Wizards personally. They have lots of great tap effects so I'd like to see a Wizard general who can take advantage of that somehow.
Outside mono blue and more options would be very very nice.
Well, I mean, there are legendary wizards that play into the things wizards care about, like Niv-Mizzet and Kydele caring about drawing cards, so it's not like wizards have nothing.
Wizards with Patron Wizard, Riptide Laboratory and Long Term Plans reprints are welcome. I will always play Azami EDH for Wizards. Kydele and Thrasios are amazing, but not for Wizard Tribal IMO. Wizards don't need a new general so much as better things to do than draw go, or at least, a few more interesting win conditions.

Wizards are one of the tribes that doesn't need a new commander, which is why I'm hesitant they will actually do one, but Wizards could use more support outside of strictly blue that is good. I just ran through EDHRec and it's insane how many commanders already are wizards. It's especially true for RU, which the majority of commanders are wizards. What I want to see is a fixed Kaho, Minamo Historian, because she is very hard to play in commander due to all the removal. It's basically a bullseye since they can kill her and permanently exile your spells. Otherwise the flavor is perfect.

Which creature is in your avatar btw? Looks like an angel?
As Nightshade said its the original art from Slave of Bolas. I've actually never bothered to change it. It's from back before we knew what the card was so everyone assumed it was some sort of BW angel, most people had no idea it would end up being a Grixis Spell.
That is the entire roster of cards of cards that care about angels.
How funny would it be if a post trying to show how little tribal support Angels have by listing all the cards included a card that wasn't angel tribal on accident, especially if it was the first card on the list... oh that would be histerical!
Angels need some tribal love!

That is because Angel's Herald IS angel support, specifically for Empyrial Archangel. What you mean in your retort is that its not generalist angel support like Defy Death. Right?

I mean I hate to argue but cards mentioning other cards isn't exactly what is considered Tribal, its just more a reference then creature type assistance.

It is creature-type assistance for one creature that is also an angel. If this was for ANY angel, you would agree more. As is, it is a tutor for a specific angel. Which means it also is angel support.
Nobody balks at Nissa Revane's +1 and says "That isn't support" because summoning a Nissa's Chosen is treated and regarded as Elf Support because she is tutoring up a specific elf that is a reusable source.
Again. It seems we have people who assume support = generalist and that support =/= specific. Which is why people to reevaluate themselves when considering what is support in this game as both generalist and specific are support cards.

That is the entire roster of cards of cards that care about angels. It really depends on what kind of Angel deck you're trying to build. If you want lots of artifacts as well as Angels, Filigree Angel is certainly a good consideration alongside Angel of Invention, Indomitable Archangel, Moonsilver Spear, and Platinum Angel. Since lifegain and ETB effects will obviously play a role, you can add in Alhammarret's Archive, Conjurer's Closet, Panharmonicon, Venser's Journal, and Well of Lost Dreams. Because a lot of the aforementioned cards have higher mana costs, you'll want lots of mana rocks, including Pristine Talisman for lifegain triggers. You'll still be focusing on Angels, so Adaptive Automaton, Door of Destinies, Metallic Mimic, Obelisk of Urd, and Urza's Incubator are good tribal artifacts.
Sigarda, Heron's Grace is perfect for a Human/Angel combo tribal deck, alongside Angelic Overseer and Herald of War. You'll want tokens and +1/+1 counters, so Doubling Season, Hardened Scales, Second Harvest, Parallel Lives, Anointed Procession, Cathars' Crusade, Increasing Devotion, Luminarch Ascension, Growing Ranks, and Moonsilver Spear are good choices. It's not hard to support a lifegain theme with Angelic Accord, Archangel of Thune, Cradle of Vitality, and Path of Bravery. There's a bit of an enchantment subtheme here, so you can include Sigil of the Empty Throne and Sphere of Safety.
And then when you combine the two pairs together, you get a veritable matrix of Bant themes: lifegain, tokens, +1/+1 counters, card draw, artifacts, and enchantments, all synergized through your Angels. Now I wanna go build a Jenara, Asura of War deck...

Fair enough. I was thinking tribal decks in a more traditional sense.
