Yes, we are releasing four decks this year instead of the normal five, since this year's theme isn't based on the color wheel but some of Magic's most popular, and interesting, tribes!
and cats are popular for magic.
Also worth noting Leonin have in the past been considered to become white characteristic race as well.

“There are no weak Jews. I am descended from those who wrestle angels and kill giants. We were chosen by God. You were chosen by a pathetic little man who can't seem to grow a full mustache"
"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
And as I mentioned, Vampires are a lot more popular than Zombies.
You keep saying that, but you still haven't answered the question of where you got that information.
EDH rec has most popular tribes as: Zombies, Goblins, Elves, Dragon, Sliver then Vampire. At time of writing the difference is about 600 decks difference or a ratio of 1.5/1 zombies to vampire decks.
So, what you're saying is, we actually have data saying the exact opposite of what krishnath is claiming?
...And, in the three posts krishnath has made since I suggested he cite his sources, he still hasn't done so. I'm starting to think he just made that up, or is misremembering, because he's so invested in vampires getting a deck.
Arahbo, Roar of the World 3GW 5/5
At the beginning of combat on your turn, if arahbo, roar of the world is in the command zone or battlefield, another target cat you control gets +3/+3 until end of turn.
Whenever another cat you control attacks, you may pay 1gw, if you do, it gains trample and gets +x/+x until end of turn, where x is its power.
"Roar of the Wild" reminds me of Disney's The Lion Guard. I've wanted GW Cats to get a legend for a long time, so I'm pleased as punch. Here's hoping we get a Nacatl or Leonin legend as well, and for reprints of Raksha Golden Cub, Kemba, Kha Regent, Brimaz, King of Oreskos, and Jazal Goldmane. Although, they may not want to dedicate a good portion of the deck to an Equipment theme, so I'm guessing we get +1/+1 counter and token themes; those are pretty much the two most major GW themes.
Green Cats unfortunately don't have nearly as many cool themes as white Cats' Equipment and lifegain, but Nacatl War-Pride looks pretty good. They might reprint Mirri, Cat Warrior and Jedit Ojanen of Efrava for nostalgists as well.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Cat frontman reminds me of Xenagod and I dont think is all that inspiring. I have high hopes for more spirit support as I've been thinking of using Genju of the Realm as a 5c kamigawa stand in.
It would be really awesome if each of the decks had a commander that could be borrowed by the others to change colour identity but retain a tribal aspect.

EDH BRGKresh the BloodbraidedBRG, A box of lands and ideas.
Modern: RG Titanshift. A deck made of cards too stupid for EDH.
Retired: Lots. More than I feel you should suffer through or I should type out.
I'm not down on Cats being one of the decks, it's a "eh, meh" choice for me but whatever I'm happy for those wanting Cats. But what I start to take umbrage with is they apparently made up a brand new character when they could have pulled it from flavor texts or Magic lore (unless I'm wrong and Arahbo IS referenced somewhere, I don't know I never cared to look that up).
Which ajani(s) do you think will be put into the deck.
Caller of the pride is the safest bet because of that super.
None - because with the exception of the 5 walkers that can be your commander from 2014 they have never put a walker in a preconstructed Commander deck. I don't expect them to start now.
And before you say "flavor", I'm pretty sure we've seen all the mythics from the dragon deck and we didn't see any Sarkhan or Bolos or Ugin walker cards. I don't see a walker for flavor in 1 deck where I'm sure they could shoe-horn one into each deck.

If we do get Spirit and Human I hope they at least are Esper and 5C respectively. GW Cats already misses 28 cats among them one of the most popular: Black Cat. If humans isn't at least Saskia colors it'll be the biggest waste ever.

Link, please?
Edit: nevermind, link provided
Here is the link.
No wonder amonkhet made a ton of cats especial Pride Sovereign
Not really hyped about cats
Going back to dragons
Wasitora is a dragon cat sooo.
Maybe the other 2 new legends in the dragons deck is the other tribes
Taiwan = human esc tribe
O-kagachi = spirits.
|| UW Jace, Vyn's Prodigy UW || UG Kenessos, Priest of Thassa (feat. Arixmethes) UG ||
Cards I still want to see created:
|| Olantin, Lost City || Pavios and Thanasis || Choryu ||
Yep cats executed all 5-color decks theory
Next theory is the dragon legend represent for each tribe in commander 2017
And for those playing at home
That's
Dragon
Cat
Human (esc tribe)
spirit
And possible avatar for the unexspected (but that's spirit easily)
Humans are still on the fence. I hope we don't get humans tough. Theya re so boring and generic :/
Hey relax it may be close to human it's closer to like warrior or knight.
Or Monks

in this case? it makes cats bigger... hooray...
in colors that have no problem making things bigger... yay
it also costs mana to activate, neat...
its really not a build around me ability, and thats boring.
Yep because you know Cats are not a totally favorite tribe at all.
Edit : The big problem is the color choice, Alara can apparently GTFO.
Dragons of Legend, Lead by Scion of the UR-Dragon
The Gitrog Monster
Gonti, Lord of Luxury
Shogun Saskia
Hive World
Atraxa hates fun
Abzan
This. I want this. I want Monks.
Safe bet easily

Cats is very likely the unexspected tribe, Ofcoarse it's not popular
Besides cats was heavily requested

garruk wildspeaker was in Animar's pre-built deck.
