608.2j If an instant spell, sorcery spell, or ability that can legally resolve leaves the stack once it starts to resolve, it will continue to resolve fully.
So the spells indeed do works as intended. Interesting how this ruling is already covered.
It's covered because of Time Stop (and similar cards) and Karn Liberated. If spells and abilities stopped resolving when they left the stack, that would create some issues with those spells and abilities' functionality. This is the first instance of an "end the turn" effect being attached to a delayed triggered ability, though (but, as you've found, the delayed triggered ability is still created due to rule 608.2j).

It's cool, it's flashy, it's powerful, and people still find a way to complain hahaha. I know they'll never please absolutely everyone when it comes to mythics, but come on -- this one is obvious!
Well, at least this does combo with Hive Mind. Not that it needed more enablers.
How does it combo with Hive Mind? If you play it, everyone gets a copy, true. But for you not to die, you need to Stifle or Disallow it...and everyone else will get a copy of that too, so nothing will happen.
Edit: it does work. Your opponent's copy resolves first so he/she dies.
Not only will the opponent's copy resolve first, it will remove your copy, so even if they dealt with their game loss trigger, you wouldn't have to deal with yours.
Isn't this mostly a worse final fortune? Glorious end lets your opponent untap his lands, at least, or even draw a card if you insist on "countering" a spell. There are corner cases where it is better, but most of the time you'd rather avoid your opponent untapping.
Maybe I'm overlooking something, but a reprint would have done the job.

If you cast Glorious End during your opponent's turn but before they untap, you get an extra turn that way as the turn immediately ends.

There's actually no opportunity to do this, as players do not get priority to cast spells and activate abilities until the upkeep step.

Ah right. So they can untap but you can still end their turn once the upkeep rolls around.
Best card for a scapeshift or ad nauseam mirror match
Not sure about scapeshift, but for the ad nauseam, we already have pact of negation...
It does work with scapeshift, if your going lethal on me i cast this and my next turn i scapeshift your face gg
Its good against any combo deck if you can go off before you die
My point is, in any combo deck, you can use pact of negation doing the same thing as Glourious End.
This new card does not improve those combo decks, at least in Modern.
For Scapeshift, why not simply use Negate if you can access the blue mana?

I don't think this is definitively worse... I think you underestimate how insane casting this in your opponents upkeep or when your opponent tries to tendrils you for a million. It also allows for all sorts of crazy deckbuilding as an instant, so even if it IS weaker (which i don't buy) it's a way neater card, so I'm glad they printed this instead.

im not saying it improves any combo deck.
im saying it improves the match up against combo deck as a sideboard card, you cast scapeshift to deal 36 damage in answer i end your turn so you will deal 0 and now its my turn to scapeshift your face or to try to do enough damage for you to die
i know pact and negate does the same thing but they are blue and scapeshift with primeval titan dont use blue mana so its a great card for us if we ever face another titanshift.
with add nauseam since they run angel's grace its funny as hell if you ask me.

Fun times with Hive Mind: "Everybody gets 1 more turn, then its game over".
This isn't true.
Because of how Glorious End works
The player whose copy of Glorious End goes on the stack last, so the player to the left of the person casting it generally will resolve exiling all other copies of the spell, the turn will end.
What happens next is a variation of the Five Finger Death Punch in magic form, everyone up to that person gets a turn and then if they don't stop it they die at the end step

We are comparing a mana cost with R to a cost with RR. The ability to splash it is nothing to sneeze at, especially if players are running it with Disallow and/or Gideon of the Trials, which both have 2 colored mana symbols each. This card can also be used as disruption in a pinch.

You don't get to do that, no one has priority during untap, it happens and moves to upkeep. It can be modified but not much else.

That was my thought. This is the most Mythic card I've seen in a long time. It's a better version of Final Fortune.

We still need a Time Stop with split second. 2UUU strikes me as a fair cost. The problem is coming up with a name.
