So if I use this to embalm-copy a Duskwatch Recruiter I can have a white zombie shapeshifter cleric human warrior werewolf?
No it loses the shapeshifter and cleric typing when it clones. It will be a white zombie human warrior werewolf.
Phooey--I wanted to annoy my opponent by saying the phrase "white zombie shapeshifter cleric human warrior werewolf" every time I referenced that creature. Now I have to content myself with embalm-copying a creature like Rhonas so I can say "white zombie god", a phrase which can be taken completely out of context in the wrong situations.
On a more serious note, I like this creature. Clever Impersonator was tons of fun while it lasted.
What's this thing's color identity for EDH purposes? I'd say just blue, but maybe there's something I'm not seeing.
The only things that matter for EDH color identity are mana symbols and the color indicators found on transformed and costless cards. Other color words don't matter, else you'd have to play protection creatures with the colors they're protected from.
A monowhite Zombie Shapeshifter Cleric; that's the kind of card description you'd expect from amateur MSE 2 experiments. Embalm has produced some surreal color-type combinations.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Since this doesnt specifically say target a creature, i wonder if I'll be able to hit creatures with Hexproof or Protection? I doubt I could hit a Etched Champion but maybe the Emrakul, the Aeons Torn.

Its a clone, like all clones they can copy anything as far as i know. Even with protection, hexproof and stuff.
