Wow, Samut is a beast. The fact that he's five mana pretty much telegraphs the fact that he's not here for Standard, he's here to be a Limited bomb and the best darned Naya general they've ever printed.
Damn, that is so much value on that card. Equip her with a sword or two and you've got an opponent on a three turn clock. Would have loved a 4/4, but really no complaints about this at all. Will need some for trade fodder for sure.

That's not a dragon, it's a drake. They are two very different creature types. The extra point of toughness makes it much more viable in modern than Spellheart Chimera, even without trample.
Wayward servant is interesting. Is it enough to justify white in zombie decks?
Samut is pretty crazy, both on offense and defense. It will be a key card in Naya exert EDH, if that's a thing.
Drake is not SO good, at least I think Spellheart Chimera is better because trample to +1 toughness is not a fair trade. WB zombie is fine but we still need some Esper zombie commander.
PS. Pretty sure Samut is a Baneslayer Angel among other legends.
Wow, that's a pile of synergistic keywords. Flash and haste does seem redundant on one level, but, geeee.... Well, it lacks trample, so it can be chumped all day long, I guess. Otherwise, only its mana cost is holding it back a bit.

Technically Samut is a naya general, but definitely good enough to play in a gruul limited deck even without white.
Also that zombie is nuts. I love tribal, I love aristocrats, I love bw.. I don't know if it is good but I will surely be trying it in modern. Please just give us carrion feeder!
It's not Gruul legend, it's Naya legend in terms of color identity. Great with Exert. Haste and flash to sercetly untap creatures right now.
Fixed the thread title. I'll admit that the card had so much text that I didn't get to the end of it to check for color identity before creating the thread.
I actually really like this card for EDH, it's very simple and to the point. New Odric seems to be a sub commander in the format. The brewing shall commence...

Look at all those keywords. Gruulkroma. Haste to all, FLASH! Come effing on. This thing is ABSURD.
Raging Kavu did it first, then followed by Izzet Staticaster. This one might be the third one ever, actually.
