"#149 Sweltering? Suns"1RR Sorcery
This deals 3 damage to each creature.
Cycling 3 The Hekma protects the city from sandstorms
and mosters, yet nothing's able to prevent the
searing heat from the suns.
And there's the Pyroclasm/Slagstorm/Anger/Radiant Flames effect that Standard always needs. Cycling is a nice upside.

In case anyone wondered, flavor text translates to:
"The Hekma protects the city from sandstorms and monsters, but nothing can stop the searing heat of the suns"
The more cards I see, the more I hope cycling was evergreen. Makes everything better.
i've always felt this way, too
with multiple people admitting that mana screw is a terrible way to lose a game
you'd think that at least landcycling would show up more often
Much better than radiant flames. No three color restriction and (if not overcosted) cycling. I won't complain about the cycling though because that makes this never a dead card
I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.
This set just keeps giving my Fevered Visions deck tools to work again.

In case I didn't tell you, I don't care about your opinion I just want your facts. And not the facts that make you seem smart. I want the ones that are actual facts.
Omg this is great. Isn't being cyclable better than Anger of the Gods? How often is the exile clause relevant compared to versatility? This thread seems to say very relevant. I just look at the modality and at least people should test it imo.

Only big thing in Modern, that I can think of, that requires more exile for the creatures is Dredge, after that I don't think there are many, if any.
It will be solid, but would it have been too pushed if it did 1 to all creatures when you cycle it? Maybe change it to a 2R cycle cost, and get a tremor attached.

Oh well. Solid card is solid.
Cycling 3, puke! Id take Flamebreak or Anger but might be usable in Limited and Standard.
