You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
Noooooooooooo, the Snake-Folk on Amonkhet has the Naga creature type! Why, Wizards? Why even separate them from snakes in the first place? Kaseto is crying...
I appreciate that they're going forward with the Naga creature type. Ideally they would have been "Naga Snake", but at least the Tarkir Nagas won't be left in the dust.

Gideon's Resolve isn't actually that bad of a card, as far as the cards that search up their Planeswalkers go. Its an expensive anthem, but it's an anthem nonetheless.
Curator of Mysteries looks great, I can see a blue/black cycling deck being a thing in standard.
Glory-Bound Initiate is a beating in limited, and could see play in constructed with the right deck. Humans will definitely take a look at it.

Anyway, Curator of Mysteries and Battlefield Scavenger are booster art guys, along with Oketra and Combat Celebrant. The last one non covered is the Cleopatra-like woman.
Funny they did not chose a planeswalker to be there. If the woman is not one...but I have suspicion we will not seen a native walker on Amonkhet.

I appreciate that they're going forward with the Naga creature type. Ideally they would have been "Naga Snake", but at least the Tarkir Nagas won't be left in the dust.
I definitely like it when they re-use design space. However, someone else pointed out the real flavor dissonance though. So, are Kamigawa (Japanese) snake people all Nagas (Indian) now, too?
Surely not the end of the world or anything but, you have to admit, it is a little weird.

Minotaur is strongly bound to specifically-Greek myth (Minos), but it's been a creature type everywhere from Dominaria to Ravnica to Alara to Zendikar, in addition to its logical place in Theros. They could use the existing creature typeOx, but they don't.
I think the stranger inconsistency is that cat and cat-people are given the same type - that they never made Leonin a type.
