I don't think it's standard playable at the end of the day. But at least Wizards provides a bone now, compared to Shadows over Innistrad... There was none.

It'll definitely be in sideboards, considering all of the graveyard interactions coming in Amonkhet. Worst case scenario, it's a 2/2 for 2, which ain't bad.
Wizards finally admitted that lack of well designed hate is part of the problem with the current Standard. Too bad this set was already in the can when they came to that realization. On the other hand, if this card was printed in, say, Eldritch Moon it would have been a staple card to fight Delirium and Emrakul. Now, it only hoses Aftermath. Barely.

I don't always play Jank, but when I do, I play Saffronolive.
I've made a realization. WotC said that Amonkhet and Kaladesh were originally switched in release. Meaning that this stuff was supposed to be in standard sooner
and I keep getting more and more disappointed by this set.
where are my powerful or interesting cards for the gods sake?
typically the first days of spoilers tend to show the real beef...
if what we're being shown right now is the real beef for this set, then we're in for a lot of pain... damn.

Where was that said? I've not heard it before. Would love to read.
So weak. Not even close to a delerium hoser, just play another demon and put 4 in the yard with the best 2 you saved. Or another one of the dozen ways to fill the yard...
Weak answer is almost as good as none.
Wow. That's some graveyard hate! Thank you Wizards!

Do take note that not all cards are set in stone. This card may not have existed. It could very well be a last minute thing.
This is really what I'm curious about, especially since BFZ was never meant to be in the same standard as Amonkhet.
Precisely--these sets were not supposed to be in Standard together and so we are going to have mini-combos or synergies here and there which are unintended. Nothing broken has been uncovered yet but if the possibility exists it won't take the Internet long to find it--people figured out Copycat within a few hours of the cat being spoiled last set.
In modern I am thinking it could be useful sb material vs Dredge or DSJ. Also I like that it could keep Goyf in check. Then it exiles to not add an artifact to the gy. Could have its uses.

STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.
Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
Frankly, reading that somehow people will always have a two-cards combo that represent 4 types for delirium in their graveyard is ridiculous.
In addition, Amonkhet is clearly graveyard oriented. Wizards came up with an elegant GY answers that does not entirely hose everything the set is about, providing a pressure valve that is not a full shut out. It clearly is intended to be an elegant solution to how providing a partial solution without completely pre-emptively making decks unplayable.

Everybody is not even focused on the most important part.
It leaves your graveyard alone.

You just reminded me
I can use the eldrazis with thT exile ability in my Eldrazi tribal with this. (Need to wait for enough stuff though.)
And you know what you can loop those with prototype portal+paradox engine+cloudstone curio(creatures) if do it with the cats.
Read it again.
Each opponent chooses 2 cards from the graveyard they exile the rest.
Each opponent that means the controller doesn't have to do it.
It means these cats are a atomic bomb in commander.
