This is why I love cycling. Multi bounce effects like this can cause huge blowouts in limited but because they are useless early game they rarely see play. However simply adding cycling makes the card much more appealing, you can cycle early on but still have the blowout potential for the late game.
Ok, this so card is great in limited and pretty flavorful as well, but what the hell is up with all these commons and uncommons? I mean,, I'm glad to have more spoilers than usual but there's been like three rares/mythics in the past two days and the rest are just commons and uncommons. Why? Where are all the rares? (This is coming from someone who actually plays limited and was ok with all the commons and uncommons at first. But it's time to stop.)
Yeah, it's just a limited common but it's one Blue is happy to have one of, maybe 2. If you draw it late game it's a beating but even if it's in your opening Cycling 2 gives it something to do.

Mostly all we've gotten in the past 2 days are commons and uncommons. Where's the hype for this set???
Didn't they kind of do this last time?
They used to show all their best stuff in week 1 leaving week 2 full of stuff like this.
I suspect they reversed it to maintain interest and end with a bang, not a whimper.

It's rare to see a card with a resonant one-word name nowadays. I like it just for that.
And for the folks complaining about it being Limited Fodder™, they always do this with Cycling cards. Urza's Saga, Shards of Alara, and now Amonkhet. The mana cost is purposefully expensive so you're encouraged to cycle the card early on while still giving the card some late-game use if needed. A spell like this can mean the difference between victory and defeat when you use it to bounce an indestructible God.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

lol, ok calm down. Don't worry, they are still going to show all the mythics and most of the rares. We're getting more spoilers now, More spoilers is a good thing, even if its limited only.

With Eldritch Moon, they did things that way. With Kaladesh and Aether Revolt, they dropped their big bombs upfront (in fact, I think they spoiled Heart of Kiran and Ajani the week BEFORE the spoilers for Aether Revolt began). I very much prefer the latter, personally.

Yeah, that's kind of what I was saying. I was fine with limited-based spoilers at first but it's been two days of "real" spoilers plus quite a bit before that, yet we still have hardly anything to work with for constructed. And it's really jarring because they usually spoil the splashy cards right away. It's not like they just toned it down this time; they are going in the complete opposite direction.
Again, I actually care about limited and I like analyzing cards for it but even I'm getting a little irritated at the lack of constructed-relevant cards. I'd imagine that anyone who only plays constructed and was hoping for much more than this would be thoroughly pissed with so few rares and mythics so far.
Hopefully tomorrow they will start to pick up the pace of spoiling rares and mythics.

So what if it's a rare versus a common. It's still not needed in this space.

I'd draft that.
