The Mana Source linked some basic land art for Amonkhet earlier today. I hadn't seen anything on it, so I figured it was time to make a thread. Veracity is unknown, but it seems reasonable that these aren't mockups.
For the first 5 spoiled I actually really like that island, kind of reminds me of older arts for basic lands. Same with the forest, kind of a throwback feel to the both of them.
Is it just me or do most of these have more buildings than Ravnica Lands? Building were cool in Ravnica, but here they're used in in way that makes me feel claustrophobic. (Mostly Plains 3, Island 2, Mountain 2, and Forest 2.)
I'm okay with most things including the looks of the Aftermath Split Cards and Invocations, but it's the basic lands of all things that bothers me...
These are further confirmation that the gods are mono-color, as there is a temple or shrine for each of the corosponding gods on one of each type.
Not gonna lie, I kind of really like the pyramid mountain for some reason.
Ok so love the art from 'Jonas De Ro'(?? Not sure about that name. Kinda small text.)
I'm terribly upset this artist didn't do a forest.
Instead we have two architectural pieces from 'Titus Lunter' (Again not sure.) which are ok. Certainly these are the best two artists for the basics. (Not including Bolas art basics.)

"The city" on Amonkhet is most likely so dense for a similar reason why Tokyo in the real world is: Apparently most of the plane's population lives inside it since the rest of Amonkhet isn't really a place where you can maintain a larger settlement.

Yes, that is Jonas de Ro. He did a forest in Shadows Over Innistrad, actually! This one, to be specific. (Tried using card tags, couldn't get the right version. Ah well.)
Titus Lunter (again, correct) also did the Expedition cycle of Battle Lands.
I don't like these lands. They have too much architecture in them and not enough... well, land. They kinda remind me of Rise of Eldrazi lands with all the Hedron nonsense.

I would have been disappointed if there weren't any obelisks or pyramids on these
That pyramid mountain might be my new favorite land.
EDIT: I guess this also confirms what colour each god is, since each land type has one of their temples
You sir are a gentleman and a scholar. I can't wait till I can play my bicycle land out, thus making me heckbent, while I have Nessie on the field. You know, so I can attack with my Pervert.

The city being the only place that isn't a zombie wasteland is a good reason for the lands to have ton of buildings, but it still feels like overkill amounts. Now that I think about it, it's probably not the number of buildings that bothers me, but how enclosing they feel.

Errr... have you been to Japan?
Even smaller cities like Sapporo or Sendai
are about as built up and dense as Chicago.

So a pyramid under a red light is a mountain, but under white light it becomes a plains. Got it.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

Here's the link.
And here are the images.
Remainder of basic lands located by Raptorchan.
Bad graphics from an older gen console game, here we come...
I guess that's what you'll have to work with on a plane that's somewhere between 80 and 90 percent desert...
Thank you Raptorchan! I'll move these to the top as well.

Look closer and you can spot the same with waterfalls on islands, cleaved hill (ruins?) on mountains, small river on swamp and skull on plains.
One of each with a temple, one of each with "hidden" Bolas horns, and one view from outside the city.
