Oh definately likely in hour of devastation.
By the way it was not reprinted for so long do to complication not because they diden't want to. Also they were getting tired of those damnation never getting reprinted jokes.
Ok, so Expeditions were lands, Inventions were artifacts, and Invications are just a hodgepodge of sought after cards? I can understand them being different card types, but - maybe I'm missing something - what do the Invocations have in common?
Wizard's has said that the Masterpieces are very unlikely to have a set theme each time around; it just so happened they were able to have a theme for Kaladesh and BfZ. The entire point in the Masterpieces is to get players to open up more and more packs which brings down the price of standard, as well as getting a limited edition print run of sought after cards with cool borders and foiling
Also, these new borders look so awful :< between this and the split card, I hope it isn't a bad omen for the set

My goodness these things are ugly. Holy cow...my eyes hurt and strain just to read them and the art box seems smaller than usual. I get the idea to make it seem like you're peering through pillars...but it's execution is far worse than the idea. Yuck. I'll be gladly selling off any of these that I pull - give me the OG art instead.
A bummer because I was really banking on Worship being in here but now I don't even want it
Yeah that's it, there some more artwork there, the trailer was announced for today, but maybe I understood wrong. Wizards is a bit disorganized when it comes to spoilers.

I'm wondering if the Gods are enemy colored instead of mono, mostly because they're depicted on the enemy colored ones.
For what it's worth too if Isfet is the name of the Black God based on the demon it doesn't seem to line up with the numbers. Isfet could be a place though too.
If you look closer at the art for those cards, you'll see that there are actually two gods standing together and casting those spells (the white and black gods for Vindicate and the black and green gods for Maelstrom Pulse), which leads me to believe that they are monocolored.
That's what I get for viewing it on my phone. Oh well. I was all excited.
Lookit the snek-man, handling all the aminals. Go snek-man.
Interesting that Hazoret is the final trial. Red is an interesting color to end on, and the idea of being "personally killed" by one of the gods is...intriguing.
I just knew ornithopter would be the downfall of the masterpiece sets. They snuck in a widely played common to see if we would berate them for it, and now it's commons and uncommon's everywhere.

Next up, masterpiece grizzly bears.
I mean, I've got no issue with commons and uncommons if they're staples in non-rotating formats and/or unique cards with a powerful effect. In the Invocation series we have:
Aven Mindcensor - Uncommon; Powerful effect that sees play in Modern/EDH, fringe play in legacy.
Loyal Retainers - Uncommon; but was an uncommon in P3K which already makes it a unique oddity. Also a powerful effect that feels fine at rare.
Counterspell - Uncommon originally, common in later printings; legacy/EDH staple, currently considered to powerful for modern. Iconic magic card.
Daze - Common originally, uncommon in EMA; legacy staple from almost 20 years ago, incredibly powerful and disruptive card. Iconic card in delver decks.
Spell Pierce - Common; similar to above though of course much newer.
Dark Ritual - Common; Legacy/vintage staple. Incredibly powerful and iconic card.
Chain Lightning - Common from literally 25 years ago; just reprinted for the first time last year at uncommon (okay and PDS but whatever). Legacy staple in burn.
Of all of the above pretty much the only one I would complain about is Chain Lightning. Would have preferred just Bolt or alternatively something like Fireblast/Pyroblast.

I have a complaint about counterspell. It could have been Mana Drain a far superior card. But if they put counterspell in the set ushering it into modern I'll forgive them real quick.

I would assume it's like the gearhulks, in that we see the standard version of the art first.
I would bet that the gods are going to look significantly different on the Masteprieces. Mayhaps even in hieroglyph form.
These cards remind me of mid 90's websites.
It could be in Hour of devastation, maybe, but for now, lol
The two gold ones also explicitly have two gods on there, which implies that you need both to cast the spell. It really seems like they are monocolor.

Where did you get that image?
whoa whoa whoa
when did they release the trailer?

Couldn't find an English version
EDIT:
Not a real trailer. A prerelease advertisement. In a bunch of languages that aren't English

Make Strionic Resonator shine!
You can not grasp the true form of Ashiok's attack!
I *have* been wanting a Modern-frame reprint of this forever,
but this doesn't exactly count, now does it?
It's also a card I would expect most people who aren't me to groan over opening.
Reprint Stasis!
Control needs more love.

Where did you find Hazorat name?
Hazoret is mentioned in the flavor text on the non-gameday Glorybringer. Seen here.
