I know right?! I think I can actually complete my playset of the couple of fetches that I need to get. You think they're going to dip in price a lot?
I'd be extremely surprised to see them dip in the long run. The demand for those lands is huge, and since this is a masters set, not an overprinted standard-set like khans was, things are different this time. There are these weird rumors going around that this masters has a significantly larger print-run and that even non-wpn stores can get it this time as well, but I'm calling complete and utter bs on both of them. I'm on quite good terms with my lgs' owner and he told me his stock will be the same as mm2 and that mm was and still should be a wpn only product.
They did the 'second wave' for the first two masters before, but I don't think it will hurt sealed box price or singles much, the demand for the cards in this is just too high. I recommend doing what most reasonable people did for the first two masters: buy the things you need after a few weeks and be done with it. I think fetches in particular will start climbing back up after a month or two.
I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.

I'm sure they'll go down a bit but I'll be pleasantly shocked if they go below $20 like the allied fetches did after Khans. The print run of this set would have to be massive. That 5X rumour has been going around for a while but I haven't seen anyone provide evidence of that yet.

If it was proven then I'd be waiting a little while before buy a box/singles, but if not proven then I'll be preordering a box soon at my LGS. Like I said I need a couple Mesa, Tarns and Mistys so I'm sure that buying singles, however expensive that may be, is probably the better option instead of ripping that pack lottery.

Pack lottery is almost never worth it. MTGGoldfish has the box EV at under $220 and it hasn't even come out yet so the prices are sure to keep going down. If you can get a box at $200 or less it might be worthwhile. There are 24 packs in a box and 53 rares in the set so it's entirely possible you will get 2, 1, or 0 fetches if you open a box.

Yeah, good point. Do you know if they're following the same pack composition as EMA or MM2015 - with a foil in every pack?

yes. just like every masters set to date, each booster pack will have a foil card in it
Gee whiz should have just printed it at common GAWD Wizards why so greedy GAWD!?!?
Actually, I only buy singles. But if it were common, it'd be an incentive for me to actually buy a box, because I make lots of tribal decks and could use A LOT of there.
Both Cavern of Souls and Snapcaster are insane. Its part of why they are so expensive to begin with.
Cavern has virtually no drawbacks; 1 mana of any color for creature type, creature can't be countered. Its a land, so it can't be countered, and its harder to spot remove than creatures & enchantments. It inherently has no casting cost. Its never useless, as it can be used for (1)
Snapcaster recurses at instant speed, puts a 2/1 onto the table at instant speed, can be abused with dozens of bounce effects, hypothetically allows you to run 8 copies of any spell in the deck, or diversify yourself and run less copies of everything else. You're rarely sad to top deck it. In the worst of times, he's got you. If he can't snap the answer, he can often snap a brainstorm or ponder that gets you an answer.
They are exactly what you'd expect from a mythic rare; not like Quicksilver Gargantuan. >_>
