Wow, now modern prices will become less crazy, the quality of good reprints will probably get lots of copies into the market and hopefully make all those expensive staples sit in the $6-15 range blood moon will probably go way down
I don't play modern and this makes me laugh. All the people hoarding copies. All the "investors" are getting rofl stomped this set its very funny to watch them squirm. The print run being through the roof , making modern affordable. Might actually let me make a deck.
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
"Awful mythics" is a touch of an exaggeration. While Ryusei, Keiga, and Jugan weren't lighting anyone's fire, at the time every other mythic was worth at least the cost of the pack (remember, original MSRP was $7, not $10). Granted, only Confidant, Goyf, Clique, and SoFaI were over $25 at the time, but the others still had solid value. Most still do; heck, outside the Kamigawa dragons (one of which is still $15+), the next lowest today is Kiki-Jiki, and that's only because he got another reprint in MM15. While it's not quite MM15's "60% of these are worth $25+" lottery, that's still a pretty sizable haul, and a few of them even went UP in value after a short time (the MM versions of both Swords are worth more than the originals, and Goyf was actually worth MORE after this printing until they printed it again in MM15).
On topic: I figured once the fetches were announced that this was ruled out by virtue of the fetches devouring EV. Who would have guessed that Wizards was serious this time about making Modern more affordable? What are we at now, three bulk rares out of approximately 40 rares and mythics revealed? That's nuts!
Given Conspiracy 2 and this, is someone new working at Wizards who actually listens to players? This set is shaping up to be one of the best in memory. Lets just hope that the uncommon and common slots keep up the high standard.

Modern: RG Titanshift. A deck made of cards too stupid for EDH.
Retired: Lots. More than I feel you should suffer through or I should type out.
With all the dual lands stuff in this set, this could be actually be useful in some red aggro deck against a good stuff deck. Nice reprint. I'll still keep my The Dark copies though
Conspiracy 2 isn't that good TBH. the foils are crazy and some of the cards seeded for legacy are too high for casuals to buy.
MM3 is probably the genesis; hopefully the floodgates have truly opened.
Conspiracy 2 was the best reprint set we've had since MM1. I'm not willing to call this set amazing, yet, we're only 1/3 through it and if the other 2/3's are pure garbage the good part of it won't look as great.
We all thought MM2 and EMA were great until the the whole set was revealed.
All of the feels. All of them.
Hold me, people. This is real.

In fairness, with MM1 having awful mythics and MM2 having awful everything else, the competition isn't exactly fierce...

YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME BLOOD MOON REPRINT!?!?!?!?!?!
THE GREATEST SET IN THE HISTORY OF MTG.
I'm officially wagering we get ensnaring bridge or/and Crucible of worlds
This is one card I was always holding off buying, as the price was out of proportion.
Now, the only card left I need to be in the set is noble hierarch.
Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.
