this is fine. i really don't mind lower value stuff if even a good chunk of the 'bulk' rares are highly playable in several formats. it crossed my mind to try buying them out last reprint, but I really wanted to do it with the promos, not to screw anyone (too many anyways) just to see how many copies i could pick up before the prices went up, mostly for fun. this might help, drive them really low for a bit,if the promo drops to $2-3 (doubtful) I could pick up 50 or so....and if they never go up,I honestly love the promo art

EDIT: Someone on Twitter made a really good point that this pretty much makes Grixis Unearth curl up and die in Limited if they don't remove it. Hate draft it or face peril!
Whatever, was only like 12 bucks. This is probably going to drop this down to a dollar rare. But still, I think most people will accept a dollar rare if it sees a lot of play in non-rotating formats.
Once upon a time it was literally the card commanding the prices of the Counterpunch EDH precon (nowadays its just due to sheer scarcity of the precon itself).
Well, no one's going to be complaining about a good card being reduced to a dollar because of sheer supply. Honestly it could stick around the "jank" slot for all future MMs (if there are) and I probably wouldn't mind it.

Honestly I have a hard time seeing this card drop much below 2 bucks.
Even if it did just get a bunch of printings, it's just so useful in so many formats to go much below that.

Yeah, the promo was for buyers of that year's edition of Duels of the Planeswalkers "Magic 2014") on iPad. Buyers of the game could print a coupon redeemable at stores for the promos. My only copy of the card.

PS3 and xbox360 buyers got different promos (Ogre Battledriver and Bonescythe Sliver, respectively).
A failure in their redemption system allowed people to print multiple coupons from a single purchase and redeem multiple (likely at different stores), and as a result stores ran out of the promos pretty quickly (I saw multiple reports of stores running out on day one). I'm glad I got my one before they ran out.
