11:15, restate my assumptions: 1. Mathematics is the language of nature. 2. Everything around us can be represented and understood through numbers. 3. If you graph these numbers, patterns emerge. Therefore: There are patterns everywhere in nature. - Maximillian Cohen.
One of the top angels needing a reprint. The only way this could get better is if they reprint Archangel of Thune.

2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!

But why? The card isn't played much in competitive magic as it is.
It's a $40 one-of in Abzan decks and casual Angel Tribal.
It's barely played any more in any Abzan decks (main or sideboard). I can't recall seeing many lists with it. If it is, I sure wish you would point me to the list.

It's a great sideboard card that is $40. Just because it doesn't fit the current meta, doesn't mean the meta won't shift and it will be a staple sideboard card again in 6 months. This is exactly what they should be reprinting. 1-of sideboard cards have no reason to be $40.

It's not in the eligible sets
Just because of entreat the angels or terminus doesn't take Archangel of Thune out of the ball game for modern masters 2017. Besides a miracle mythic of each color is not garateed just like he command cycle and we have 0 letter "A" white cards yet.

I know about that list, and I think that's the only list in the last few months that has played it. I'm not even sure why though.
I agree with the poster above that it shouldn't be $40 but the bigger question is why print this when people generally want more reprints of other cards that are generally played more or just needed for the format? Linvala seems to only fit a niche. That's why I don't understand why people want this to be reprinted so badly.
Reason to print is that MM is not JUST about competitive modern. It has always been a haven for reprints for EDH and casual too. I mean Doubling Season is not a tourney card and it's appearance in MM 1 was well received.
Not going to reduce the value too much but it was getting too high.
Actually this is the kind of card that will probably see a substantial decrease in price... it's primarily a casual/EDH card that was printed in an era when sets had MUCH smaller print runs.
All this ridiculous value is only furthering my belief that this is the going to be the final "Masters" set.

Shrug? It's obviously a popular card or it wouldn't be $40. Knocking it down to $20 temporarily for those who want it is a fine thing to do.

That's why I think there's so many value/amazing cards
Plus to support the theory of this modern pro tours are ending so not as many modern reprints now.

YES, PLEASE!
Much like Linvala here, I never snagged a copy of that,
and I have at least a couple of decks that want one (Ayli, Rhys).
