do you think making new artwork will impact the price of the other arts at all? I mean I guess people will want whatever meets there budget or whatever they like the most
I would expect the ZEN version, non-foil, to be very close in price to the MM17 version and be about $1 in range of it. The GP promo version of it I would expect to be at least $5-10 more expensive than the other two. Although my educated guess is running off the rumor of 5x printing for MM17.
slightly off thread topic (sorry mods) but hopefully it is a 5x print run. I guess the 2 non-promo versions will depend on preference.
I personally expect the promo to maintain much more value, a conservative guess of $20-30. The foil ZEN version I expect to have a higher price tag attached to it than its MM17 foil counterpart.
Ok. Crazy card. 2/2 with haste for 1. Always going to be a top limited pick. It won't see standard play though. No one wants it. BG counters won't splash for it. Cat combo doesn't want it. Mardu vehicles could use it, but it won't. Here's why:
1. It dies to the most popular two removal spells in the format. Shock and fatal push.
2. It's just a bad idea to be giving your enemy an extra land drop in this standard. Swinging a couple of times with this dude will lead to you getting cat combo'd a turn earlier. Not good.
Lol guys, it's obviously a joke about card assessment skills. I had myself a good laugh before I realized anyone objected

Project Booster Fun makes it less fun to open a booster.

Yeah, that's what I was going for but the mods told me to drop it, so I will.

You've got a rat in your walls, and cheese won't solve anything.
I'm so beyond thankful that the print run for this is going to be larger than the others (if that's confirmed..?)

Do they ever confirm print run size in certain terms? The EV value is insane here, but if it is a limited print run and these start going for $300+ a box it'll be a disaster.
Wizards! Do the right thing and give us a better print run so we can actually make cards like Goblin Guide a $5 card again. Burn is supposed to be budget.

With the reprint of Goblin Guide and the fetches, burn will be budget. But get your hands on your playset of Eidolon of the Great Revel as soon as possible, since it's from Journey into Nyx and can't be in MM2017. It's already spiking hard since it's the last burn staple that's holding value.
Exactly, and you have also illustrated the problem. No matter what they reprint, there will always be 1-2 cards that the finance community can target to buy out and shoot up in price. If it isn't Eidelon of the Revel then it'll be something else. Now Goblin Guide is $5 each and Eidelon is $45. It's like there's no way to win.
