My guess is we won't see the Zen fetches drop below $20 per, which is significant enough I suppose. Being in a smaller print run of $10 packs coupled with high levels of demand should stimie losses substantially.
Aside from Marsh Flats, I'd be surprised if they come anywhere close to those lows.
I am glad that they reprinted the fetches with the same art as the original ones. This means the originals will drop in value substantially. Same goes with Damnation.
Bruh... what magical Christmas land do you even live in? The prices will drop 10 bucks tops if the box prices shoot through the roof and there's no second print.
*facepalm*
Face it dude he's right the prices are going to tank on these.
Damnation is probably going to drop toe $15 and the fetches to like $25 (except for UG and RU)
Just from what I'm seeing right now from Goldfish is the site has it for about $80 but you can find it on eBay for $66. We could already be seeing the prices tank.
Nice Damnation needed a reprint pretty badly.
Zendikar fetches while nice to have... I feel like they should have waited for a standard set.
Without fetchable duals in standard I think it would be fine. This makes me think that they will complete the tangoland cycle from BFZ in Amonkhet.

If you look at the rares that were reprinted in Modern Master 2015 and EMA, the vast majority of them are much more accessible than they were before, even the ones that see competitive and heavy play. This set will be printed much more than the original Modern Masters run and possibly even more than the Modern Masters 2015 run. Think about cards like Fulminator Mage, Blinkmoth Nexus and Eye of Ugin. Think about how much those cards were worth before they got reprinted and now. Cryptic Command was more than $50.00 and is less than half of that now.
Glad I pre ordered a box last night at $179. Now to hope they actually honor it.
Same here. I ordered 2 of them, now let's see if they honor it.

Cards are game pieces, and should be treated as such, easily replaceable.
Cards are not money, investments, or a retirement fund, and should never have been treated as such.

Boros Guildgate is #231 and Crumbling Necropolis is #233 and they didn't spoil anything else that could be #232, I'm pretty sure I can guess which card is going to be in the set between those two.

Do you realize Eternal Masters dropped all the prices of cards by 50% or more?

And the demand for Legacy staples is probably 75% less than the demand for Modern staples by virtue of the size of the player base. Not to mention the Legacy staples are only played in EDH, Vintage and Legacy, while some of the MM17 chase cards are played in all those formats plus Modern.
uh wow thanks wizards, finally a damnation reprint. Having all the gates reprinted is fine, but the shard trilands needed it, they were getting worth a bit much for a land that enters tapped.

what im actually wondering is, would wizards reprint the fetches in the next block too? think about it. we just got revolt in AR. when they reprinted the original fetches in tarkir, they kept reprinting them though tout the whole block. not just in the first, but throughout the whole takir block. seeing that this is true, would it be possible that wizards would reprint the fetches in the new block too? even just to keep it standard legal, esp since they're are still zendikar dual lands in standard with two land types.
Reprinting fetches here is cool IF the 5x print run rumor is true. If this set turns out to be very limited, and fetches stay 40-50+, this is the stupidest, greediest move in a long while.

Most of what you mentioned are spells, not lands. All fetches are $40-$80 and the demand for them is superhigh. The lower end could get under 20 but the high end will drop $10-$15.
Well, I certainly didn't expect (or want) to see the enemy Fetches in Modern Masters, but the increase in supply gave a good indication that this was the way they were going. I'm certainly disappointed, but I guess that, at this point, they had to do it: the Enemy fetchlands could not be reprinted in Standard until the block after Amonkhet, and the prices is a barrier to new players.
This is how I think they became included in Modern Masters:
1) They were planned to be in Kaladesh (Revolt plays well with them), but after the debacle of BFZ standard and the very high prices of decks in Standard, they wisely chose to push them back, until they Battlelands left Standard.
2) They probably planned them for Amonkhet next, since BFZ would have rotated out during the Spring rotation. However, they quickly reacted to the negative impact of their "two rotations a year" plan and couldn't keep them there, since BFZ is still legal during Amonkhet Standard.
3) Out of options, and with decreasing numbers of players in both Standard and Modern, they put them in Modern Masters as a "safety valve" of sorts, a short-term solution to increase the supply make the format slightly more affordable.
The prices of the fetchlands will not drop as low as the Allied ones (probably keeping well above $20), but it was their only short-term solution. I fully expect them to be reprinted in Standard at some point in the future, though that point moves from "in a block or two" to "in a couple of years".

Cryptic dropped because the decks that use it in Modern aren't very good right now. Eye of Ugin dropped because it was banned.

"I hope to have such a death... lying in triumph atop the broken bodies of those who slew me..."
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.

You're probably joking but lands get sequenced separately from colored spells. Resotration Angel is #20, for example.
