Wow, players get a reprint of enemy fetches and still complain! A reprint is a reprint. Goes to show WOTC could slip $100 bills into packs and people will complain about how it's folded. They probably put those in because they knew it would be a while before they made a standard reprint and wanted to get extra copies in circulation before then. Also they did cause broplemd in standard. Too much shuffling, filling the graveyard too easily, to efficient mana bases, and let's not forget the mess tgat Knight of the Reliquary was!
I am glad that they reprinted the fetches with the same art as the original ones. This means the originals will drop in value substantially. Same goes with Damnation.
Bruh... what magical Christmas land do you even live in? The prices will drop 10 bucks tops if the box prices shoot through the roof and there's no second print.
Do you realize Eternal Masters dropped all the prices of cards by 50% or more?
And the demand for Legacy staples is probably 75% less than the demand for Modern staples by virtue of the size of the player base. Not to mention the Legacy staples are only played in EDH, Vintage and Legacy, while some of the MM17 chase cards are played in all those formats plus Modern.
Yeah EMA was also opened a lot less than what MMA will be, trust me its going to have the same effect. Goblin Guide is already hit 15$ (was about 45+ previously), all the fetchlands are at 60% of original value and not even out yet

Except it dropped from $62 to $34 after being reprinted[/url], and only reached its old price over a year later when it spiked because Infect became the deck to beat. So really not a good comparison.
1. NH getting back to its general price proves you're wrong and he was right.
2. NH is getting played in more decks that you seem to think. Anything with creature that cost more than 1 runs it. (Bant Eldrazi, infect, coco, reliquary, ...)
3. Fetches are played in /almost/ every single deck. In all eternal formats.
Anyone who says reprinting fetches is bad should rethink. Obviously printing in a standard legal set or supplementary product is ideal, but we need reprints however we can get them.
And as I said prior, they can still reprint these later in a different product such as commander to take the cost down even lower.

3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!
Anyone who is still *****ing about fetches being reprinted in a supplemental product instead of a standard-legal set and suggesting that the prices aren't going to drop precipitously ought to go check out TCGPlayer right about now and check out the prices on original Zendikar fetches.
This is not too far out of line with the price drop on Onslaught Fetches when the KTK fetches were announced. Why such a price drop when this is a limited print run set? (1) Because the expectation is that the print run is going to actually be quite large; (2) these are printed at RARE whereas the major, expensive chase cards (Dark Confidant, Tarmagoyf, etc.) were printed at Mythic Rare in past Masters sets.
Also keep in mind that (a) the MM17 versions are going to be even lower than the original Zendikar versions; (2) these were spoiled only four hours ago and the prices will continue to drop as more copies enter the market and people panic sell their originals.
Looks like Wizards may have finally figured out how to do Masters sets right.

MtgGoldfish prices say Tarns are down to 12 tix from 22, Verdants 13 tix from 18, Arid Mesa 6.7 from 13.
Big hits, though the MTGO market swings faster and more dramatically than the paper economy. Damnation only dropped from 10 to 9.

So knowing what we currently know, I think we can make some safe-ish guesses about where things are.
Between Arcane Sanctum and Arid Mesa is two lands: Arctic Flats and Arena. The Snow-Land cycle is probably not getting in, and I would bet neither is Arena. Arcane Sanctum is probably 228/249.
There are no cards between Savage Lands and Scalding Tarn, so it must be 244/249.
Between Scalding Tarn and Seaside Citadel, the only non-cycle land is Scrying Sheets. I feel it's safe to say there's no snow theme, and Scrying Sheets isn't worth reprinting. Seaside Citadel is almost definitely 245/249.
Between Seaside Citadel and Selesnya Guildgate, there are only three cards, all of which belong to cycles. I feel safe saying Selesnya Guildgate is 246/249.
If I had to pick one, I would place my bet on the Transguild Promenade at 248/249, and Simic Guildgate at 247/249. But I can hope that that isn't the case.
EDIT: Oh, and if there are any lands before Arcane Sanctum, they'd be Ancient Ziggurat or Academy Ruins, neither of which I think will show up.
Also, this is not how economics work. First of all, demand is not contingent upon supply; prices currently reflect the level of demand for enemy-color fetches, and supply just substantially expanded, ergo there will be a price drop. Also, fetches are at least somewhat imperfect substitutes. $250 Scalding Tarn is not happening, if only because people will start substituting Flooded Strand and Polluted Delta if (BIG IF) the price of Tarn gets too high before it sees another retiring. So I'm sorry, but if your plan is to flip a set of Verdant Catacombs into a set of dual lands, I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed when Catacombs drops to $30-35 each.
Supply just expanded, sure. But demand for those cards is also expanding, and at an exponentially higher rate like it has with each of the past 3 masters sets.
There's also also the fact that the supply is tiny. My LGS just posted on facebook that their distributor can only get them 5 boxes, instead of the 6 cases they asked for - and they have to rescind all the box preorders because they're still on the hook for running the 4 release night drafts. (using the last box for prizes) This means supply is growing by a significantly lower amount that projected, while demand stays inelastic.
Demand is already baked into the current price. You're not going to see a huge spike in demand based on this sudden influx of supply; ergo--PRICE DROP.
Demand is baked in to the current price to a large extent but the Masters products also tend to create some new demand by raising awareness of Modern/Legacy and influencing new players to enter these formats. Sometimes this demand can even be greater than the new supply! This is why Tarmogoyf has been reprinted twice and still hasn't fallen to its pre-MM2013 price.
And as for the other person who posted that tired old "people would complain if the $100 bill was folded improperly" cliche, grow up. Try addressing the actual arguments here.
There is just no pleasing some of you is there? For years we hear over and over again that Enemy Fetches need a reprint. WOTC needed something to sell this set and here you have it. This will definitely decrease cost on these fetches as well. They are being printed at rare not at mythic. Compare this to EMA which reprinted Wasteland and saw its value drop around 75% for a card in super high demand.
The demand for Wasteland isn't even close to the demand for enemy fetches. It's not a super popular Commander card and the Legacy playerbase is a tiny fraction of the Modern playerbase. Fetches are some of the most important cards in every format where they're legal.
Unless the print run for this set is absolutely massive I doubt the price will really fall much at all long term. Compare to Noble Hierarch. Printed at rare in MM2015, lower demand than enemy fetches, currently worth almost exactly what it was worth before MM2015.
However, you're right that the Wasteland comparison is a bad one. It's just that your counter is equally bad. A better example would be Tarmogoyf's price history, but even that's not a particularly good one.
Actually Goyf a bad example as well considering it is Mythic in both reprints and in 2 sets with a limited run. Maybe a better comparison is Doubling Season which nosedived in value after its reprint only to see it spike recently because of Atarka.

Between Boros Guildgate and Crumbling Necropolis are a few more, but previously in the thread were boiled down to: Boseiju, Who Shelters All, Buried Ruin, Cathedral of War, Cavern of Souls, City of Brass, and Contested War Zone. There's enough possibility here that we can't be certain.
Between Misty Rainforest and Savage Lands are a mere two spaces: Orzhov Guildgate at 241/249, and Rakdos Guildgate at 242/249.
Between Savage Lands, and Verdant Catacombs, we have five spaces, and four currently known cards.
There are no cards between Savage Lands and Scalding Tarn, so it must be 244/249.

If we ignore card cycles, the potential options are Seraph Sanctuary, Shimmering Grotto, Springjack Pasture, Stalking Stones, Swarmyard, Tectonic Edge, Tendo Ice Bridge, Terramorphic Expanse, Thespian's Stage, Tolaria West, Tomb of Urami, Transguild Promenade, Unknown Shores, Unstable Frontier, Untaidake, the Cloud Keep, Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, Urza's Factory, and Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle (which I'm including only because of it having a known quantity deck.)
If I had to pick one, I would place my bet on the Transguild Promenade at 248/249, and Simic Guildgate at 247/249. But I can hope that that isn't the case.
